Doesn't deliver on promises
Staff are very friendly but don't expect anything beyond the very very basic and don't bother asking for anything because you'll never get it. We decided to spend our last two days in Dubai on the beach so are in ground floor "city view" Room 207 literally looking directly at our car parked about four feet away from our window. I am so dissatisfied that I'm writing this review while still in the room!
Where do I start - we asked for the noisy air conditioning unit to be fixed four times. Nobody came so we gave up. Check-out was "maybe 3pm" when booking, confirmed for 2pm yesterday, and today we're told it's 1pm. We checked in at 3am after a red-eye flight so I'm particularly incensed at the lack of accommodation. (They at least offered to hold our bags and we can use the facilities until our flight tonight.)
The room itself is fine if you can do without turning on the old noisy air conditioning unit. Clean enough but needs an upgrade. The bathroom is oddly downstairs and grey, grey and more grey with dingy floors. Only one bar of soap for the bathroom and only one roll of toilet paper. No laundry soap provided even for purchase and no tea towels or detergent for the kitchen. Very very stingy or just plain odd.
The view from most rooms are of either the hotel parking lot or the public parking lot between Kite Beach and the hotel. At night, the locals like to cruise loudly around the public parking lot so beach view side was very noisy. Unfortunately this week, they're also deconstructing a huge platform from the food fest so check what's going on.
Breakfast on the terrace is fine. Food was ok. Service was excellent with very helpful staff. Front desk is also very friendly but not empowered to do anything it seems - not even to get maintenance to stop what they're doing outside our door for a few minutes to come check our air conditioning unit. Thank goodness it's not summertime here yet!
Spend a bit more money and go to a real beach hotel on Sunset Beach closer to the Burj al Arab or another hotel with free shuttle to a beach and faster, more reliable wifi.

Noisy and very basic
It is extremely noisy at night. Sometimes, even noise cancelling earphones don’t help.
I understand that the administration cannot control what is going on in the parking lot which is right next to the hotel, but I do not understand why they cannot teach their personnel to keep quiet at night time. Using a power washer at 4 a.m. is not ok, having a friendly chat and laughs in front of the villa at 5 a.m. is not ok. Doing construction work at 6 a.m. is not ok. If they don’t understand, someone must tell them. Talking at the reception about this doesn’t help. They smile, nod and do nothing. Looks like these guys are not authorised to do anything.
And there is an unbelievable amount of flies by the pool. It’s just not possible to sit there. Whether it’s because of the kitchen or they way they treat their food wastes, I don’t know but they need to do something about it.

A breathtaking staycation near....
This hotel is highly recommended for a family, peers, couples, or even for a solo. This property is just opposite the Kite Beach in Jumeirah 3. Their staffs are friendly.
Their 1BR chalet is spacious with complete kitchen facilities, and stunning beach view. Their shower room with baththub is quite small but it’s ok. They are providing basic toiletries as well.
It has a balcony where you can sit and have a cup of coffee with a breathtaking view. In the afternoon, you can see those people doing activities such as kite surfing, jogging, and biking. We’ve seen boats sailing together, it was amazing.
There’s a lot of things to do in this hotel which will never gets you bored so we had extended our booking to be for 2 nights to de-stress and enjoy more. They have huge swimming pool plus kiddy pool. There is a Table Tennis, human-size Chess, and Football Table in the same area where you can play free of charge (subject to availability). They have sauna and steam bath in their changing area. They have Gym with complete amenities too.
There is Carrefour supermaket which is just few walking distance from the hotel. Also, a lot of restaurants and diner within the area.
What I am disappointed is that their in-room breakfast is very poor, maybe because it’s Ramadan period.
Overall, it was indeed a very relaxing staycation!
