Amazing hotel. Nice rooms and bathrooms. Staff is good. The only flaw is the entry to the hotel but it does not make much difference. Also they should supply toiletries like dental kit, comb and mouthwash. Overall its a very nice hotel with hi tech rooms.

Most of the things were perfect. Even the hospitality was superb but they do not serve Indian food over there, for which I would rate the hotel 2 star out of 5. Secondly when we asked for Indian food for breakfast which took them 45 minutes to prepare, for which I would rate them 1 star out of 5.

Mind you this is going to be a long review. We checked into the hotel at 3.00pm, an hour after official check-in time but were told that our room was not ready. We only got the room around 4.30pm. We did not mind that as much because the hotel did look exceptionally busy and we had our lunch in the meantime. Would like to bring to notice that at check-in we mentioned we were celebrating our anniversary. Our room was very nice, with a nice view of the Burj Al Arab and the hotel pool. However, our bathroom had some sort of leakage through the shower cubicle and the water was all over the bathroom floor and also onto the carpet right outside the bathroom. We called facilities and the guy who came to check it said it could not be fixed right away because the bathroom was very wet and the silicon would not stay, which is completely logical and understandable. I spoke to the duty manager mentioning that I was pregnant and did not want to risk a wet bathroom in the middle of the night. He was kind enough to understand and upgraded us to the only room they had available, a 2 bedroom suite. Upon moving into the new room, all started to go downhill. We walk into the room, to find used socks thrown near our bed, lipstick stains on the glasses and to top it all off, the AC was not working. Our first complain to the duty manager was at 11.30pm. A technician was sent after half an hour who did some things and said it would now start working. At 12.30 am it still was not and another complaint was made. We were told there were no other rooms available and they would do what they can. From 1.20am to 3.00am this is what continued to happen. Please note we had to call the duty manager 5 times to get a status and he was the most unresponsive and inhospitable person we have ever met. Finally at 3.00am I called him and said either they move us or we were checking out and he was most willing to check us out and also sent the bellboy to get our luggage faster than the time they took to tend to our complain. At the front desk we asked him for a refund for our stay, said he could process it because it was a 3rd party booking. A late check out was offered as compensation which had already been provided because we got the room late. I told him the least he could have done was come up to the room when the technicians were working to make sure we were okay, he said what do you expect me to do, come up and fix the AC his basic attitude was this is the situation you either take it or leave it. Everything we asked him for, we were told he could not do it, it is not possible. He even tried to tell us that we should be happy that we had been upgraded from the 3rd floor to the 14th floor. This is when my husband lost it and told him that we did not ask for an upgrade, would have been happy to be in the same category room, it was the hotel that provided the upgrade. He had the audacity to tell us that we were wasting his time and our time by arguing. After having had enough and being pregnant and tired we decided there was no way we could go out and look for another hotel, so decided to stay. We did end up sleeping without the AC. I will gladly disclose his name to the management if they do decide to respond to this review. The next day we spoke to a senior manager who was very embarrassed by his colleagues behavior. He gave me a spa complimentary which worked but does not cover up for the worst hotel stay ever. This has by far been the worst experience we have had and not at all expected by the brand Jumeirah. The manager was not only arrogant but also the most ill-mannered person I have met till date. I personally will never stay at one of these properties again not because the property or the facilities are bad, but because my first experience here has scarred the brand for me. You would think that being known as one the finest hospitality brands, they would take extra care of people specially if you are pregnant, but unfortunately this was not the case. A special occasion turned sour because of this experience. I hope the management makes sure that no other guests have to deal with such an experience and behavior.

My bathroom had a major problem of hot water. No matter what time of the day, repeatedly we complained and the hotel did send the staff but it got fixed on a temporary. The next day same problem occurred. They refused to change my room too. My room number was 2809.

We, as a family had one of the best holidays although I was semi working. The staff were most courteous and helpful. The on-going refurbishment in part of the resort meant that we could not enjoy some of the facilities we had enjoyed at the earlier stay last year. However we still had a wonderful time and would return.

The hotel location and amenities are worth the money. Located around the Diera center, surrounded by Al ghurair center, a great shopping complex and food outlets, easily accessible to metro line - hardly 5 minutes walk. View from the balcony was amazing and early morning pool was fun. If you want to make your stay pleasant, please try the hotel apartment. The staff was very friendly.

The best advantage of this place is its location. Many of the local markets are nearby. If you think Dubai Mall is far from here, wait, they provide free shuttle service to Dubai Mall and Jhumeria beach. Facilities are excellent and so is the staff.

This hotel is conveniently located at Dubai Marina very close to major tourist attractions. Though the rooms are small for a family of four, but the staff was very helpful. There is a concierge at the reception which helped us book Atlantis water park tickets at a discount and also provided free towels. Overall, a real good value for money.
