I recently stayed at the Hotel Grand Excelsior and had a pleasant experience overall. The location is quite convenient for travelers—it's about 1.2 km (roughly a 16-minute walk) from both ADCB Metro Station (Red Line) and Sharaf DG Metro Station, making it easy to access key areas across Dubai via public transport. The Grand Excelsior Hotel Bur Dubai itself is situated in a quiet part of town, yet it's still close to Bur Dubai, giving you the best of both worlds—peaceful surroundings without being too far from the action. There are a few good restaurants within walking distance, and the restaurant inside the Grand Excelsior Hotel Bur Dubai offers quality food with a decent variety. I appreciated having multiple dining options without needing a long commute. Additionally, there’s a shopping centre nearby, again within walking distance, which is handy for grabbing essentials or enjoying a bit of local retail. Overall, a solid choice if you're looking for a comfortable stay in a relatively calm area, but still want easy access to transportation, shopping, and dining.

5 Stars – Wonderful Stay at Grand Excelsior, Bur Dubai I recently stayed at the Grand Excelsior Hotel in Bur Dubai and had a truly pleasant experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff were warm, welcoming, and attentive to every detail. The check-in process was smooth, and I was impressed by the elegant decor and cleanliness of the lobby. My room was spacious, comfortable, and well-maintained, with all the amenities I needed for a relaxing stay. The housekeeping team did a fantastic job every day. I especially appreciated the quiet atmosphere, which made it easy to rest and recharge. The location is perfect — close to the metro station and several great restaurants, with easy access to key areas of Dubai. The Grand Excelsior Hotel Bur Dubai also has a great selection of facilities including a gym, swimming pool, and restaurants that serve delicious food.
