Location for night stay at airport is perfect. You can directly walk-in and walkout into the airport. Rooms are clean and well equipped. Staff is courteous and heeds to your requests. We did not eat food because we had early morning flight. Therefore I cannot comment on food.

The location is perfect, in middle of MEL. But with respect to price we paid, the hotel was very average. Same price would have gotten us a room at Rydges Melbourne (which is a landmark hotel in MEL and just 50 m from The Crossley).

Front desk staff were excellent and willing to help with anything. I had the ironing board collapse and the iron and board dropped on my foot. I rang room service to inform them and we got a new ironing board, but no one was really interested in what had happened to me. The old ironing board was left in our room, so I put it out side the door and it was still there when we left. The buffett breakfast was disappointing with a lack of variety. Several other guests also mentioned this to me. I would still recommend the hotel because of it's location to the theatre's, trams and central city.

When I have to enter Australia, I chose Melbourne, not quite sure why yet. But I was happy to chose Habitat during my entry to Melbourne. It is very close to tram stops and thus can connect you to city and other suburbs quite easily by the fantastic train-tram-bus network. The hotel is clean and comes with a kitchen and break fast with fresh tea and coffee. If you are travelling to Melbourne and looking for a cheap, tidy and comfortable stay you have got one over here.

Me and my wife stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. The hotel has great facilities like swimming pool and gym. There is a restaurant downstairs. Plenty of cafe and eat outs nearby. The hotel is very close to railway station which you can use free of charge to explore the city. Car rentals like avis, apex, budget are also nearby. We enjoyed our stay here and would love to come back.

Its a good hotel with many restaurants and dept stores with in the walkable distance. The hotel is 10mins drive from airport. Service and attitude of the staff was good. The rooms were neat abd clean. The reconditioning was also good.

It's a pretty decent place at a stellar location. Right outside Luna park and bang opposite the beach. Couldn't be any better. The people at the place are long term backpackers and let don't really mind for others. So don't break. Your head if no one talks to you. Just do your own thing. And cook your own food and chill at x Base.

Staying at Werribee Park was a great experience. The surrounding estate is beautiful. Walking the grounds is a must for its serenity and historical value. A ten minute walk will get you to Werribee zoo which is a must do as is a visit to the state rose garden and winery which are all walking distance. The guided tour of the historic mansion itself was well worth the time and money. If your staying in the historic part of the hotel, then expect small rooms but the view of the grounds makes up for it. Only real downfall is that this part of the hotel needs some renovations. The carpets are well worn and the cleaning of the rooms need that extra care. My fridge still had a half drunken spruilina juice in it. I don't know how long it was there for but it was close to turning into swamp water! I also think for the price you pay for these rooms that the use for the coffee machine/pods, should be free. I'm glad I stayed in a historic room but next time it would definitely be in the newer spa section of the hotel. The staff very, very friendly and helpful. The restaurant was expensive but the food was perfect. Would definitely come back again.

Was a great stay just by the Yarra river.. Since I had a conference at the Melbourne convention centre it used to a pleasurable walk down the lanes.. The cool breeze and clean air never forgot to please me.. Every Night when I returned I used to find my room completely neated up.. The bedsheets used to be in place and the washroom cleaned as if completely afresh... Though there was definitely not a great view from my room outside but overall a good stay with some good memories.
