I am writing this while staying at Room 520 on 5th nov 2024 ( have a booking of one more day ) Let me be very clear, under the 5 star, they are not even maintaining a service of 1 star. They are so pathetic in service that they will frustrate you to the point where you stop asking for anything. Let me start with the checkin When i come to checkin at 3:40PM they asked to wait (check in time was 2PM via agent site). Even after 1 & half hour of checkin time they were not able to give room. When we checked in room 520 we found that the rooms are interconnected (theirs a door which opens in room next to 520 🤣) so even if someone talks in other room. Whole voice of them (with proper bass and terrible) will be heard by you and vice versa. So basically you have zero privacy as the rooms are partioned by ply wood wall. We opted for non smocking room as my wife is asthmatic, But beside our room if someone smokes our whole room start smelling like hell. And when i asked to change the room. They said we can send the security and asked other person to not smoke 🤣 and even if we change the room sir you will get another interconnected room. Later we found out that its a residencey converted into so called zero star hotel. They are pathetic to the core. Will update with the whole stay Update - it’s 12:19am in the night and i am asking them to change the room and they have nothing to say. Our room is full of smell of smocking and my wife starts coughing now !!

The hotel is good but the room service is not good at all! they do not provide towels and water required for 3 persons as per booking. During check-in they asked aed 100 for 3rd person per day means aed 1000 extra for 10 days; where as we booked for 3 persons on mmt. To resolve this issue we were waiting for 90 minutes at reception!

Grand mercure is just a 4 star hotel. Even-though ambience is ok, facilities are not on par with a 5 star one. Buffet breakfast menu is the same on most of d days. If u stay for more than 2 days, u will get bored of their buffet. And in room tv is of no use. Only few arabic news channels. No internet connection to tv to play youtube. When u are catering to international tourists, how can the hotel expect to watch only local languages. U cant even cromecast/mirror your phone screen on tv. Its best only if u need a budget stay in a star hotel with moderate facilities. And particularly, reception ladies are not so polite. They are very casual when we approach them with a concern.

-Stay was excellent -Location is near to metro station so easy to commute -Shuttle service available in hotel which is addon to the comfort to travel in Dubai -Cleanliness is up to the mark -All services were good & staff is supportive -Suggestion to add some more variety items in breakfast.

Hotel room is very clean and neat. Every part of the room is hygienic. Hotel staff is well mannered and nice. Food is very nice. Room service is on time and it is nearby airport so transportation is very easy. Metro is also not far away. It is walking distance

I booked a hotel, but during check-in, i was asked to pay a 350 aed deposit, which i did (although the check-in process took 30 minutes. At checkout, they refunded only 162 aed instead of 330 aed (after deducting the city tax. After a lengthy discussion, they discovered that the staff had canceled my booking and registered me as a guest. Resolving this issue took nearly two hours, making it one of the worst experiences i've ever had. It completely ruined my family's on-am celebration.

The worst service and experience. Staff need to be changed despite the amazing facilities and the room is amazing.

This is one classy hotel with modern rooms and high ceilings. There is a walk in wardrobe and the arrangement of the room is unique. The breakfast is top notch as well. Thoroughly recommend.

Low average quality of food is served and same menu repeats. There is no other option for indians apart from bread counter. This property is rated 4. 5+ in review and listed in 5* hotel category where it does not meet a 3* facility. I was booked deluxe suite, the room and sitting area is specious but toiletry items are low quality, and towels are very heavily used. Very bad smell of smoking in the corridors.

The staff are all nice. The food i can say is 3/5 so i am considering if i will include bfast in our next stay again. We are just living nearby but we always choose to stay in this hotel.

The room service is very bad, we need to wait for 2-3 hours for just a water bottle. We were in dubai for 5 days but check out due to bad experience
