The Slate Phuket

I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Slate, Phuket, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. The moment you arrive, you’re struck by the unique design – a perfect blend of modern luxury and industrial-chic style, inspired by Phuket’s tin-mining heritage. The atmosphere is both artistic and tranquil, setting it apart from any other resort I’ve visited. The rooms are spacious, beautifully designed, and equipped with every comfort you could ask for. I especially loved the attention to detail – from the décor to the little touches that make you feel at home. The lush gardens and pools create a serene environment where you can truly unwind. Dining at the resort was another highlight. Each restaurant offers something unique, with a mix of authentic Thai flavors and international cuisine, all prepared to perfection. Breakfast was outstanding, with an incredible variety to choose from. The service deserves a special mention. Every staff member I interacted with was warm, professional, and genuinely attentive, always going the extra mile to ensure a wonderful stay. Whether you’re looking for relaxation, romance, or a bit of adventure, The Slate delivers on all fronts. It’s a destination in itself – one that I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Phuket. I’m already looking forward to my next stay!

Everything very very average. The fact that it has no lift or ramps makes it difficult for elderly or people needing assistance, is their biggest drawback. Rooms could be on the 3rd floor and no lift, which is not expected of an expensive 5 star property. Foods extremely average too.

Resort with everything included. Not much people mostly foreigners. The market at back is great for food. The beach is super clean. All together better than hotels in patong.

Slate is built on theme of mining hence interiors are all in color black. Initially had a very bad experience at slate but credit to ghee at front desk our experience was elevated, very supportive and understands your requirement. However breakfast is below average and staff is rude specially, their team member by name of sai. Black ginger is a must must try, food is amazing if one wants to spend lavish money then book a higher category room and one would have a wonderful time. Distance wise far from city centre but very close to airport

Funky decor, really big rooms and good service

It's the most uniquely designed resort i have ever stayed in (this was my second visit. The rooms in every category are bigger than usual. The quality of service at all points of interaction is stellar.

We had a very good time at the Slate. Loved the Plumb bob bar at the pool. Food is excellent. Highly recommend this place.

Unfortunately there for only a day, will definitely be coming back here.

The infinity pool is amazing and The cocktails served at The pool bar was too good they offered happy hours cocktails as well

The Slate is located at Nai yang Beach and it's a beautiful resort for art lovers. The rooms are well equipped and you will fall in love with The bathroom. They offer great activities during The day and multiple options for dinning. Staff very friendly and welcoming they even helped us book taxi for early morning Airport transfer.

One of the better resorts I've stayed in. A tad bit far from the main attractions of the city but totally worth it. Very friendly courteous staff.

Love the modern artistic theme of this sprawling resort just off the lovely Nayiang beach. Our room the D-Buk suite was huge and very comfortable, featuring beautiful furnishings and materials. Unfortunately breakfast was limited and not as good as expected, we've had much better at JW Marriott resorts. Also there were so many large mosquitoes on our balconies and inside our room. The bathroom is open, and the toilet does not have a proper door, which is quite unhygienic! Finally, The restaurants and spa in the resort are exorbitantly priced, The worst we've seen anywhere in Thailand, so we didn't get to enjoy them. Overall, The resort is better suited to romantic couples, The adult pools are gorgeous and super relaxing. The staff were truly lovely and very professional, and there were special touches such as welcoming camellia flower bracelets and free welcome cocktails.

What a beauty to die for loved everything about the Slate. Very good service, food, staff always very welcoming. Would recommend to everyone to must visit the Slate.

Great staff that know the true value of customer service special mention for reception and the restaurant first class service, the evening menu was varied and the food exceptional. The bedroom was spacious and very comfortable. Front desk staff is very friendly and welcoming.
