Golden Beach Resort

I had a pleasant stay at Golden Beach Resort. The location is excellent—just steps from Ao Nang Beach and very convenient for restaurants and shops. The pool area is lovely and perfect for relaxing. My room was spacious and comfortable, with a nice view. Overall, good value for the price and a great option for staying near the beach. I would consider returning on my next trip to Krabi.

The stay was mediocre not very good they don’t have housekeeping at night time we asked for water they said we don’t have it right now go out and buy

The only genuinely good thing about Golden Beach Resort is its good location—close to the beach. Unfortunately, everything else fell short of expectations. The hospitality was surprisingly poor. The staff at the reception and at breakfast hardly ever smiled, and whenever we asked or said something, they looked at us as if we were inconveniencing them. It was an uncomfortable experience, especially in a country known for warm and welcoming service. The only people who carried the spirit of Thai hospitality were the pool attendant and the cleaning lady—both always smiling, polite, and pleasant to interact with. Their kindness stood out in contrast to the rest of the staff. Overall, the resort did not reflect the Thai hospitality we’ve experienced everywhere else on our trip. With its fantastic location, it has great potential, but the service needs serious improvement.

Our stay at Golden Beach Krabi Hotel left us with mixed feelings. Only good highlight was its excellent location, which was right at the beach. Unfortunately, everything beyond that fell short of expectations — especially when compared to the warm Thai hospitality we expected. The overall service was noticeably below Thai standards. The staff at both the reception and the restaurants appeared uninterested and rarely smiled, which was surprising and rather disappointing. Having previously experienced exceptional service at a 4-star property in Phuket, we expected the same welcoming vibe here, but were met with the opposite. Even in the rooms, amenities and supplies were limited. The hotel seems to be privately managed, and the lack of professional hospitality training shows. The only bright spots were the friendly swimming pool attendant and the housekeeping lady, who were great at interaction every time we met. Overall, while the location is great, the subpar service means we’d skip this hotel next time and look for a more guest-focused option in Krabi.

Best located Hotel in Krabi. Amazing pool. Decent breakfast. Rest all is just manageable. But you just won't regret it because of the location. Perfectly on the beach, right next to main market.

Excellent hotel.. right in front of beach...very happening area still calm and quiet.. very supportive staff...very easy and convenient tour plans from the counter..very very happy with service

Golden Beach Resort is a beautiful beachfront property in Ao Nang, Krabi 🌴. It offers spacious rooms with great sea or garden views, a relaxing pool area, and easy access to the beach and nearby shops 🏖️. The staff is friendly, and the breakfast spread is good. The resort also has a soothing massage and spa section, perfect for unwinding after a day of island tours 💆‍♀️🌺. A perfect stay for those who want comfort and convenience near the beach 🌅.

A great location and good upkeep ness. But very limited menu for breakfast. Need better vegetarian options. Make my trip don't mention Deposit of 3000 thai bath. Be careful what is chargeable and not in room

Rude front desk staff, room cleaning poor, had to reminde for my complimentary water bottles, and unnecessary strict rules and regulations, will not recommend this hotel

Excellent Service , The staff were very helpful & always smiling . We requested & was given a room from which itself you can view the sea. We went to swim at the sea from room & came back to the balcony to relax . Food was good & tasty . Breakfast was mix of international & Thai . Enjoyed our stay very much . Pool is also very good & they do serve drinks at the pool side at very competitive rates

the location of the hotel was good, The room was specious but old construction. only Thai and American food was available but no choice for Indian inspite of lots of Indian are booking this hotel. As most of the hotels in Krabi are now serving Indian food they should also include it in their Menu.

Pathetic service. Pathetic rooms. Not very clean rooms or corridors either. Definitely won’t recommend this hotel to anyone.

A very well maintained resort, just opposite the beach which is rarely crowded. they have clean rooms, a pool and a good breakfast. tour desk is also a part of their hotel and gives good rate for tourists

This was a pathetic experience. The hotel staff gave us a room on 3rd floor without lift while they had rooms vacant on other floors too. Morever they wanted us to upgrade for other floor room, which was even more than the total booking amount. After this during the checkout time, they denied to send a bellboy and we had to carry our luggage from 3rd floor on our own. Very poor service. In the room, AC was not working and constantly draining in room. They were unable to fix it or change the room.

Had pretty bad experience at this hotel. They gave us room on 2nd floor inspite of them knowing we are having an infant with us. Also no lift in the hotel. We had also issues with water in bathroom as they stopped the water 3 times without informing. Breakfast was also below average. Also, while checking out, there was nobody to help with the luggage inspite of asking 3 times and we had carry our luggage from 2nd floor to lobby ourselves by stairs with the baby.

Rooms are not at all clean, breakfast is workable. Pool is not clean yet people are managing. Bathrooms are out of question The front desk staff will make your stay unpleasant by putting tags across your rooms with rate cards of breakage
