Colombo City Hotel

Best place to stay in Colombo, the stay was really comfortable ...further this hotel will be the preferred one

The hotel is in a good area and price is very high compared to the services. The triple room was dirty and floor was full of dust. Even though we checkin late the room but ready but not clean. The mini fridge was not working. The balcony was also not clean. The room had 2 strange beams like a W out of no where.

location is central to all attractions. Srilankan food is amazing. Bars and Fast Food joints including high end restaurants are à stones throw away. Overall a Satisfied stay.

Property location is excellent. Rooms are comfortable. Excellent housekeeping. Breakfast has a good spread. The bathroom shower curtains need to be longer in length to prevent water from over flowing into the rest of the bathroom.

The hotel staff was good and polite but reception desk is lazy and inactive. Their response to any query was very late. The room of the hotel is very small and not enough space. There was also mosquito in the room. On site restaurant is good for drinks but very limited options for food. Not a value for money stay. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. Only positive thing is the gentle housekeeping staff.

Excellent location best value for money this is the lowest priced hotel in this highly business district room is big washroom is decent i found only one thing is the items in hotel are highly priced for eg, french fries 7 usd is too much in a hotel like this.

The location is ideal, situated in the heart of the city with a wide range of hotels and restaurants nearby offering delicious food. However, the standard room initially provided did not have a window, which was not mentioned on makemytrip. The hotel reception resolved the issue by replacing the non-window room with a windowed one. Overall, the stay was average"

Cancel-led booking with no refund. They cancel-led booking no communication was givenm makemytrip is totally useless for international booking.

Location is nice but rooms are below average, staff is friendly and nice. Only if you are on a tight budget, then this hotel is for you. There are plenty of restaurants nearby

Make my trip, and it as always very good property by make my trip. Reception guys were wonderful, always have a smiling face eager to help and assist, food was good

Services and facilities are not good more over they don’t have proper accountability and tracking system even for room services and orders. They charged a very big amount for a service which we didn’t avail further more delayed our check out even after they understood that the same was their staffs mistake

Checkin was delayed and i was asked to wait for 4 hours as mm t has not released payment to hotel. I have made to call mmt care and requested to release the payment to hotel. This is however my last review as i am uninstalling mmt.

Look like ok service better but looking more convinced i am ranking at 5 in future more better services

Our stay at colombo city hotel was disappointing due to unprofessional staff behavior. When requesting an extra bed as per makemytrip rules priced at $10, we were charged $14 instead. Additionally, staff members laughed at our language barrier struggles, which made us feel unwelcome and frustrated. Despite the hotel's amenities, these issues significantly impacted our experience negatively.
