Cinnamon Red Colombo

The stay here was very comfortable, though the rooms were on the smaller side albeit as expected. They gave us a room on the 25th floor where we had an excellent 360 degree view of downtown Colombo. The rooms and bathrooms were very clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. On our last day there was a storm and due to the heavy winds the glass doors of the gym shattered as some plastic chairs were swept midair and hit these glass doors. The glass broke and the glass shards fell into the swimming pool and due to that the pool had to be closed for maintenance The Cinnamon Red Colombo management hence had to close the top floor where the pool was for maintenance and repairs. They arranged for us to go to Cinnamon Grand Hotel to access their lovely swimming pool. All in all our stay was very comfortable and we will definitely return to stay at the Cinnamon Group of Hotels We only had breakfast in the Cinnamon Red Colombo and the spread was very vast and the food was very good.

We got a great deal for a 2 night stay. This is a very good 4 star Cinnamon Red Colombo in a great locality. We walked to a lot of nearby places and sometimes took the tuk-tuk right in front. We had a corner room on a high floor with panoramic views of the colombo skyline and the ocean. They have a decent gym. Didn't try the infinity pool on the rooftop as it was raining, it is a small pool but it looked pretty inviting. Wifi was decent. It was 11pm when we checked in and their restaurants had closed except for the rooftop bar which was about to close. The food was ok there. They stop room service before 10pm which is a bummer. We didn't eat any other time as we went outside to explore and eat out.

spotlessly clean room and the floor staff very helpful. Nice touch having ice dispenser near lift area. restaurant food...well presented and fantastic choice. door entry staff helpfull or taxi /tuctuc . location is great, central to attractions just 2 things to be negative of, our room had an interconnecting door( locked) but we could clearly hear the person on that room on the telephone, so sure he could hear us. should have some soundproofing. bathroom is beautifull, but the glass door gives no privacy sound wise as it has a few mm gap all round roof top pool. wow! after a hot day sightseeing it even had my husband tempted - he never uses a pool!

Centrally located and clean rooms. Dining area is clean spacious and well organised. Courteous staff and helpful too. Ease of using cabs and services such as Uber makes it convenient for the guests. Vegetarian options could be improved. Overall it was a pleasant experience.

Stay was excellent, food quality was also good, most focus on non veg food but tied to balance the meal for vegetarians. The Cinnamon Red Colombo staff response was very good. Enjoyed panorama view from my room window. overall good experience. Must go again.

Stay was good. People were nice. Not value for money. Price was too high compared to other nearby properties. Location is not that much suitable. The food was ok , and needed improvement , price was high compared to other good properties arround.

A nice Cinnamon Red Colombo to stay , location and amenities are excellent. Rooms are spacious and clean. Buffet breakfast is extremely good. Staff are well behaved and helpful.
