Granbell Hotel Colombo

The stay is located in a prime location with a beautiful ocean view, it’s closer to the attractions and one Galle mall. Room was spacious, clean, all amenities included with discounts in restaurants located in the hotel. The staff were kind and everything was perfect. The only thing to note is that the parking space is adjacent to the hotel so you’ll have to carry your own luggage till reception but there’s elevator.

With the beautiful view of the sea located at a beautiful location on the Marine Drive of Colombo, it provides top notch services, including smart toilets, food beverages, and so much more. All in all Granbell Hotel was superhit and maybe one of the best hotels in Colombo Sri Lanka. We had a lovely stay and we would highly recommend everyone to go to Granbell. Thank you, Granbell. Lots of people from all over the world go to the hotel and mingle with others, making it a lovely and comfortable stay for all the residents. The pool at the 27th floor, the rooftop bar, and the restaurant are to die for.

The room was very small and there was nobody to attend to and we were waiting for someone to acknowledge/greet us at the gate while we were waiting in our ride. Breakfast was good with a lot of varieties. Bathroom was good. View was excellent.

I stayed at the Granbell Hotel in Colombo with my family in sea view rooms and had a wonderful time. The rooms were stylish and clean, offering beautiful views of the ocean. We particularly enjoyed the stunning infinity pool on the rooftop terrace, which provided a perfect relaxing spot with panoramic sea views. The hotel staff were friendly and attentive, making our stay very comfortable. Overall, it was a delightful experience and a great choice for a family getaway in Colombo. Highly recommended!

Very good hotel , bang opposite sea and a amazing infinity pool/Bar at the top floor. High-tea is good... breakfast is value for money. Will definitely stay again if I have to visit Colombo.

This hotel had the worst service I have ever experienced. We reached after a long journey and nobody helped with our bags. Nobody showed us to the reception, which hilariously isn’t on the ground floor. We had to figure it all out by ourselves. We somehow made it to the reception with our bags. I had booked 2 rooms for 4 of us. Because of issues with our flights, 2 of us reached at 3pm and the rest were going to reach at 9pm. The man at the reception said since there are only 2 of you, I’ll give you 1 room. I said I wanted both since my father and I wanted our own space. He looked at me like I was crazy for wanting the rooms I had already paid for. He then said only one is ready, which made no because check in time is 2pm and it was about 3:30. After insisting he give me both rooms, he said the other will take 10 minutes and he’ll send the key to the room. I went and waited in my room for 30 minutes but nobody came so I went back to the reception and then he said “actually I can’t give you both rooms because I need the passports of all 4 people” Which was hilarious because why do you need passports for the people who aren’t here yet? I was visibly upset and their manager saw that and asked him to give me the key. He only gave 1 key for each room and when the rest of my family checked in, we asked for 2 more, he made faces and reluctantly gave us the keys. I have never met anybody in the hospitality industry who was this rude and disrespectful. This was the first hotel on my Sri Lanka trip and I also spent my birthday here. Had the worst experience. Please spend your money in a place where they have some semblance of customer service.

The stay at Granbell was one which was relaxing, comfortable and luxurious. It truly felt like a home away from home. A holiday to remember indeed in the heart of Colombo. The Buffet Breakfast had a wide variety of items, the rooms had all the modern amenities, the view of the ocean was breathtaking and the infinity pool was simply amazing.

Very good room, great views, comfortable stay, great shower, great staff! The highlight is the property with amazing view of the trains running parallel to the sea.

A lovely place with a beautiful view of the ocean. Room amenities too are modern and the hygiene and cleanliness very good. Restaurants offer a wide variety of food options. All in all a wonderful getaway.

Excellent location and lovely rooftop Bar and infinity swimming pool. The breakfast spread was very extensive. Highly recommend.
