Silka Maytower Kuala Lumpur

i stayed @ 28th floor of32 floor and there were 4.lifts which is very fast and easily available. The room is clean and neat but the bed is king size so not much room to move around easily. The bath room is also very neat and small. The got and cold water was available all the time. The location of this hotel is good and reachable by bus and also LRT trains. The LRT station is only 9 minutes walk from the hotel. water and coffee & Tea is provided every day in the room and cleaned with towels changed also. i stayed about a week there and didn't have any problem with stay. The staff at the reception was very helpful and guided me nicely. Only problem was that i requested for 2 hours extra to stay as my flight was late. But that was not granted and they said it's chargeable by hourly. Otherwise the hotel safe to stay.

There was no lock in washroom. Reception girl told me in standard room the have only sliding door without lock. If I need lock in washroom door I need to upgrade the room. I’m from travel industry and stayed many different countries and cities but first time I saw washroom without lock.

Property poorly maintained had a very disappointing experience at Silka Maytower Hotel. The service was extremely poor – staff were unhelpful, slow, and not attentive to guests’ needs. Basic hospitality standards were missing. The property itself is also not well maintained; cleanliness was lacking, facilities felt outdated, and overall comfort was below expectations. Definitely not worth the money, and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a pleasant stay.”

Extremely Disappointing Stay – Would Not Recommend All basic amenities like a dental kit, fresh towels, shaving kit, and slippers are chargeable — nothing is complimentary. The rooms and lobby are poorly maintained and look old and worn out. The biggest letdown was the breakfast. It seemed like leftover dinner items were being reused, and there were absolutely no options. Easily the worst breakfast experience I’ve had at any hotel. This place does not function like a proper hotel. It’s more of a residential society, with around 90% of the space occupied by apartments. The overall atmosphere is not at all welcoming or professional. Rooms and washrooms were messy and far from clean. Honestly, even a basic 2-star hotel would offer a better experience than this. Avoid if you’re expecting even a decent level of hospitality.

rooms need pests fumigation done for cockroaches. rest was ok for me. the hotel is centrally located with everything accessible at walking distance

The housekeeping staff was so rude and I find the rooms and lobby also dirty. Not a good place to stay.

they must get pest control for cockroaches ASAP they were one too many,check in times are way too late and don't consider early check-ins either should be more hospitable

Food is excellent, even good veg food is available. Staff is polite and always ready to help 24 X 7. Hotel location is awesome.

Firstly they charged early check in as their timings for check in was 3pm. Then told us that they are upgrading our room for no extra charges but the room was smaller than the one in booked. There were bugs and cockroaches in the room and breakfast was worst. It was all dirty around breakfast and it was more over like lunch and not breakfast. There was no mentioning of the vegetarian breakfast and non-vegetarian breakfast.

Excellent location and all shopping area right in and around the hotel and super walkable distance.

Overall a terrible hotel which seems to be straight out of a cheap hotel from the 1990s. The entrance is a decent looking facade. The room was musty, dirty, and smelling of cigarette smoke. The bathroom water outlets were broken. The bedroom sheets were yellowed out and the AC took time to start working. Definitely doesn't deserve a star

Rooms is not suitable for family. it's like low budget lodge. what we see in the slide is not original in physical.
