Good Stay

We occupied two rooms in this property for 5 nights in november 2024. Pros: -compact comfortable and very clean rooms with great bed, good ac, nice views (esp from terrace) -water dispenser is a great addition + electric kettle available in all rooms -contrary to some reviews, i thought the breakfast spread was great (although not many indian options which was totally fine with us, lots of malaya, chinese and continental options with staples like omelette counter, cheese, fruits, muesli, tea, coffee, juice, etc) -located in pudu locality, more than a km from bukit bintang (and its infamous traffic jam for vehicle movement. However, more than 15 restaurants in walking distance +multiple regular pubs and 24x7 convenience stores like 7 eleven and one all night open restaurant alo food corner -one designated smoking zone (publiclaly accesible) right outside the main entrance and another on terrace (open till 11 pm) -room cleaning everyday if requested -starbucks at the lobby -i think one or two metro/lrt station at about a km distance (didn’t use as mostly used grab for all commutes) -10 mins walk to berjaya times square -courteous staff -complimentary coke, prawn crackers in fridge -regular sized swimming pool on terrace (not infinity pool) -quick and hassle fee 24x7 check in -the chinese / taiwanese restaurant bang opposite the main gate is quite good and reosonable cons: -nothing much, thought it was just a bit overpriced, maybe because of the brand -no balcony -almost every night some stranger will ask for an extra smoke in the designated smoking zone; but overall safe -grabs are usually a few minutes away; however, reaching bukit bintang by cab could consume a lot of time in the evenings despite short distance due to the horrendous traffic there - reaching any other location in kl not an issue through grab -you will be staying in pudu, which is an alright neighbourhood with good connectivity and reasonably priced restaurants (but this is not bukit bintang or klcc) overall a good and safe place to stay outside bukit bintang, especially if you don’t want a stay at a serviced apartment without free breakfast. The mercure is a great business Mercure Kuala Lumpur Shaw Parade option -efficient systems and services (everything from the hot shower to the housekeeping response at 1130pm, decent breakfast choices. Plus a nice view of the petronas twin towers from the lift lobby!

Stay is good, we stayed here for 4n5days. Ambience is nice, pool is at top floor, clean and nice views from roof top. Near to bukit bintang walkable but little long, nearest monorial is imbi station, walkable.
