Good place. Value for money. Amazing location

First the pros. The Hotel Capitol Kuala Lumpur is centrally located. Very close to bukit bintang, jalan alor, and one of the most happening places in kl, with places to hang out open late into the night. Comfortable beds, clean rooms and polite and welcoming staff. The view from our window was also amazing with the twin towers and kl skyline visible. However, the Hotel Capitol Kuala Lumpur is quite old so they have a few drawbacks. I'll list them here anyways at the cost of sounding nitpicky, maybe. Firstly, our room did not have a shower. It was a hand-held shower faucet. Secondly, they only have individual taps for hot and cold water, without any mixer in the middle. So every time you have to use any of the taps or shower, you have to open the taps just right to get to the proper water temperature. Thirdly, we had only one free socket available in the room. So if you want to charge / use multiple devices, it becomes difficult. Please note, the above may not be applicable to all rooms and maybe specific to my room 1207.

There are many more eating joints around including Indian restaurant. The famous Pavilion Mall is just 1 km away from the Hotel Capitol Kuala Lumpur. Overall, it is good selection of Hotel Capitol Kuala Lumpur for all types of travelers.
Good stay, poor lighting

The rooms are decently big in size for 2 big people. The lighting is poor inside the rooms. Lift to basement was under maintenance so it created a bit of inconvenience. Breakfast is really good though. It would have been good if the juice was made from natural fruits and not tang.

I stay in this Hotel Capitol Kuala Lumpur frequently. This time I stayed with my daughter. The rooms are small but comfortable. The location is perfect right at bukit bintang area. The breakfast is elaborate. This is value for money.

Great location at the heart of bukit bintang. 2 malls are just next buildings. S rounded by many restaurants and malls. Clean and big rooms with great view. There is no swimming pool, gym here.
