A good place to relax and located very close to the beach a 6 minute walk, in a quite neighborhood. Good friendly staff, as is always the case. The Chef was quick to accommodate my request for vegetarian food, and really prepared a good smorgasbord of Sri Lankan delicacies. Never used many of their other facilities, but overall definitely a place to kick back and relax.
Room was great but the mattress was perhaps a bit too creaky, made getting on and off an embarrassing moment. But overall, I would say that given that this is a perhaps older construction. The number of easily accessible plug points was really limited. Else, the rooms are really really big and spacious.

Being out of the Palms Mount Lavinia for most of the day, this is a good place have some peace and quiet after a Long day. Rooms are good size, amenities are sufficient, and replenished without hesitation, food quantity and quality is also quite decent.
Large room and ample space to swing as many cats as you'd like. Laundry bags and lists were missing from the room, but the laundry service was quite good.

Good location in Colombo, Palms Mount Lavinia room is very large and clean. Restaurant did not have much option and were out of most dishes. Outside the Palms Mount Lavinia is good choice of restaurants within walking distance. Very good value for money and I would stay here again.

Hotel is good, staff are courteous. Beach is just 200mts away! Only issue was with old fixtures like ac and phone. AC remote wasn't working and phone was not working.
