Short stay of 2 nights. Location is not that good. I was given corner room at 7th floor After a long flight, what I got is loud loud music running from nearby pud/disco/bar. O could not slept for hours and finally asked to change the room. Most of the rooms were getting same loud noise. Hotel staff mentioned that every Friday and Saturday we have this issue. Secondly, the bathroom had very peculiar bad smell. Finally the staff was hesitant to extent my request of late check out as my flight was delayed. Overall, not a good stay for weekends, there are many other very good and cheap options available nearby this area.

It was a great stay in fairway colombo. Even though the check in time was 14:00 they have allowed us to check in 11:45 itself without any charges. Great behaviour of the staff. Beautiful rooms and great ambiance.

Fairway colombo hotel is situated an hour from the international airport and very near the colombo bus stand. The check-in process was prompt and hassle free. My room was of adequate size with all amenities like ac, kettle, soaps, towels, room service etc. The restaurant on the top floor has a good view with good food and average service. During my stay cleanliness was top-notch. One can easily get tuk-tuk and uber taxis. It is a well-known hotel by the drivers so finding it was not an issue. It was a very comfortable stay overall.
