Wanderlust hostel Riverside

I would recommend everyone who is planning to visit Almaty to stay in this hostel. Great staff nice ambience perfect location

All was good, but Liya the cat was the best!! The property is situated in a good location and maintains a good level of cleanliness. Would recommend

The images shown are all expanded and are shown with enhanced room space. I have stayed in the hostels in many countries but this is the worst I have been to. The common space is negligible, untidy and looks like a relic. The only good this was that the washrooms were very clean. I booked for 4 days but stayed only for 2 due to these reasons.

I had an average experience overall. The location was quite good and convenient for exploring Almaty. However, the shared washroom facilities could have been better maintained, and one of the staff members wasn’t very professional, which affected the overall impression.

The girl at the reception is highly supportive for early check in and also helps if you wanna know anything.. I would highly recommend

Toilet is so bed and no air condition in mixed dormitory toilet flesh butten is bot working and no wosher

Had an amazing experience, it was my first time but the host was so cooperative and helping I did not face any issues, I would recommend to anyone who is looking for a comfortable stay and an experience to know other cultures as well. They have a friendly cat as well

The experience was mostly nice. Firstly, for all Indians out there checking this hostel, no they DO NOT have jetspray although MMT says that they do. We booked two private rooms but the bathrooms were shared and anyone/everyone in this hostel have access to it. We faced electricity outage on two separate days and one morning there was no water till 2pm. They do not provide mineral water and just say that the kitchen tap water is drinkable (so we bought our own from a supermarket nearby). The air conditioning also did not work and it gets a little warm in Almaty during the afternoons. Despite all of that, its a nice place to stay. The vibe of the place is really cool, it is located centrally and a lot of tourist attractions, good restaurants, big supermarkets and coffee shops are nearby. They have a cool outdoor lawn where you can sit and have a good time and we spent a lot of time there hanging out till late night. Overall, a nice place to stay but there are some issues that you need to take care of beforehand.

It was the most wonderful stay. Very lovely host and the two cats were adorable. I'm really missing them, and this beautiful stay. The other hostellers were amazing as well. And there were many things admirable like the sharing table, the wonderful vibe of the living room. Missing everything. All of this at a very affordable pricing, really couldn't have asked for anything better.

We stayed at this charming hostel, which offers both dormitory and private rooms. We opted for a private room, and it was a great choice. The shared bathrooms were always clean and fresh. The hostel is located in a spacious villa, providing a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. You might even get some furry companions joining you during your stay! we truly enjoyed our time here and highly recommend it to all travelers. It's conveniently located near shops, pubs, and restaurants.

Amazing host. Very cordial. It was a mini india i would say haha. Enjoyed every bit. Supermarkets and every needful place is quite close to the location of this hodge.
