I had two days of stay at the hotel and it was full of surprises and not good ones. The bad things about the place :
They ask you for an additional 1000 Baht right when you check in as a security deposit in case of damages to the room which is refundable but it still makes you feel a little uncomfortable.
On the day of check-in, we were given a breakfast coupon where we could only get one item on the entire menu as a breakfast. There were also no condiments available.
They provide two tiny water bottles of water for two guests. Any additional bottles would cost you 20 Baht per bottle. You can get it way cheaper outside.
They have a shuttle bus service from the hotel which leaves at specific hours for pickup and drop. But unfortunately for us we waited for almost 1 hour at the Kamala beach pickup point and no one came to pick us up. When we tried to call the hotel for help, no one picked up the phone after several attempts too.
The attempt to contact the reception staff at night was most of the time futile after 8 PM for hours. Upon raising this with the staff, the lady clearly mentioned, she could only answer the phone when she is available and not when she is occupied with something else.
On the day of our checkout, we had no power in our rooms for almost 2 hours and there's no additional power backup.
No source of water in the bathrooms too. So, better not to use bathrooms at power lose.
The good things about the place :
The hotel's property.
The availability of the shuttle bus to nearby places.
