Excellent hotel in perfect location near to ocean front... view from window was awesome... room was very neat with all basic amenities... We were received nicely by the hotel management. They were flexible too and allowed late check in. Overall a great experience

Excellent location. Fairly priced. Nice cafes and eateries are walking distance away. The sea is a few steps away. The service can be a bit more prompt but i think i can live with that. It has a a bit of old world charm to it. With improved amenities and toiletries, the place can be perfect.

Great tidy place to stay for a day. Situated near the main street of colombo. Budget friendly spacious rooms.

Good 100yrs old property well maintained just near the sea shore. Good location. Clean spacious room and clean toilets with hot water shower.

Room, bathroom, bed linen were neat and clean. Location is good. Everything you need is just in walking distance. Staff is very friendly and humble. Overall it was a nice stay. Value for money

Few things MMT should mention in bold: a) There is no kitchen in this hotel so don't expect room service. b) The hotel's location is ok but there is no security and on one person mans the hotel. c) Breakfast is pathetic and in the name of free breakfast you get 2 slices of bread and 1 egg. They were not even aware that they have to provide breakfast for 4 adults and 2 kids and said that breakfast is available only for 4 adults. Plus breakfast took 90 minute to prepare which delayed our entire day's plan. Overall it is understood by me that one should never book overseas hotels through MMT. Reason for this is also related to another hotel booked at Hikkaduwa through my friend where when we reached the hotel said only one room is allocated for us. It took MMT 4 hours to tell us to just succumb to the offer from the hotel.

Just stayed for a few hours before my flight to shower and change. Not a great hotel but value for that price. Staff was helpful in arranging taxis for me. Not a place to stay on holiday.

The check in started with a big miss communication, I booked 2 rooms for 3 days for 5 people, but they said that they got information for 2 room bookings for 3 people for 3 days, a big bad moment for me and my friends and it took an hour discussion for sort things out which came only after I intensely checked the order they received, such a bitter experience. Rooms are not so great and there is no clear differentiation between standard and deluxe room, even the hotel people didn't know which one is deluxe and standard
