The Metro Hotel Bukit Bintang

I had a wonderful experience during my stay at this hotel. The location is truly fantastic, making it incredibly easy to get around and explore the city's key attractions and dining spots. It definitely enhanced the overall convenience of my trip. What stood out just as much was the quality of service. The staff displayed excellent behavior—they were all very friendly, professional, and attentive. Every interaction, from check-in to check-out, was pleasant and helpful, making me feel genuinely welcome. I highly recommend this hotel based on both its prime spot and its wonderful team!

Perfect stay in Kualalumpur and city view from window side is beautiful. Near to monorail station and bukit bintang markets

It was a pleasant experience. Hotel was nearby metro and many other attractions. Everything was present nearby. Staff was also supportive.

Only plus point about this hotel is its location. But be ready for the traffic noise as glasses are not sound proof. A simple request of a spare blanket was declined by first saying that their house keeping closes by 5pm, then asking for a separate charge and when I agreed to pay, they said it is not available. Surprising that a hotel does not have even a single extra blanket. More importantly AC don't work. We were given a padestal fan for both nights of our stay. I could see many guests complaining. And since AC is ineffective and you want to keep the ac on for a short while you want to go out, they will again ask you to keep a security deposit for tej extra key. Seriously? It doesn't even cost Rs10. Totally avoidable!

Stay was Excellent and Near To Imbi Monorail and many Shopping malls near by. The Front office staff and Restaurant staffs are all friendly.! Sam Gets special appreciation from our side.

Excellent location, very well connected with public transport and nereby to most iconic attractions. Clean room and efficient staff.

The hotel is near a number of shopping malls and so very convenient if that is what you want to do. There's an Arabian restaurant a few steps away and Berjaya Times Square is about 200 meters away. Quite a few food options and shopping. The location is also convenient for sightseeing around the city. It is about 100 meters away from the monorail train and getting a taxi around is also easy. We used Grab app and it's very convenient. The breakfast is something I did not like very much. The sunny side up is usually overcooked and also the other items are not as good as some other hotels I've stayed at. You won't miss their breakfast. Stay there bit have your breakfast elsewhere.

excellent customer service , metro /monorail , mall, indian foods all are nearby . breakfast buffet was good it had indian foods too .

We had a wonderful time at this hotel! The staff went above and beyond to accommodate our request for early check-in, granting us access 2 hours before the official time. Their courtesy and hospitality truly made our stay special. The room was clean, comfortable, and lovely. The hotel's prime location in downtown Kuala Lumpur was a huge plus – everything was within walking distance, including the iconic PETRONAS Towers. We'd highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for convenience, comfort, and great service. We'll definitely consider it for future stays!

hotel is average and service are too breakfast has not good variety nor teste definitely not for insian standard however if you like less spicy you will like it

Review Title: Very Bad Experience — Not a Hotel, More Like a Hostel I recently stayed at The Metro Hotel Bukit Bintang in Kuala Lumpur for 7 days with my family, and the experience was extremely disappointing. Firstly, this is not a hotel — it feels more like a lodge or hostel. The room was very old with dirty, worn-out carpets, missing furniture (which seems to have been removed as it was too old), and no mirror in the room. Lighting was very poor, and overall the room looked very depressing. The hotel lobby was completely empty, giving the impression that this hotel may soon shut down. The service was terrible. I requested a towel but never received one. The front desk staff, especially one lady at the reception (who seemed Indian), was extremely rude. When I complained about the poor condition of the room and lack of furniture, she simply said: “We don’t provide much furniture.” The breakfast was another huge letdown — the same limited options every day: rice, baked beans, sambar that tasted like curd, and idlis without proper chutney. Only one fruit (usually watermelon) was served. No boiled eggs, no omelette, no baked items, and no live counters. The hotel doesn’t even have a restaurant. I had to buy curd and breakfast items from 7-Eleven daily and eat them in the hotel breakfast area because of the lack of options. Overall, it felt like I was staying in a jail, not a hotel. I would never recommend this place to anyone. It completely spoiled our trip experience. Thank you.

Food - The breakfast options were really very limited. They don't even keep water in the breakfast buffet. No live counter. No milk available for the tea. They were not ready to pack little food for a toddler. Location - location is very good as it is just 4-5 mins walk to Bukit Bintang metro. Facilities - Our rooms AC wasn't working for the first night for 4 hours and we were sweating like anything. The management was helpless and finally after 3 hours, they got some servicing done and then it started working. Horrible experience.

Here's a breakdown of the issues I faced: - *Poor Reception*: Upon arrival, the receptionist,, was quite rude. He took a long time to attend to us, didn't greet us properly, and simply handed over the room keys without any further assistance. We had to take our luggage and find our room on our own, which was quite inconvenient. - *Maintenance Issues*: My room (1004) had several issues. The washbasin was clogged, which I reported to the staff. However, no action was taken to fix the issue during my stay. Additionally, the air conditioning in the room didn't cool properly, making it uncomfortable to stay. - *Basic Amenities*: The washroom was also lacking in terms of basic amenities. What was advertised as a "jet spray" was simply a pipe with no proper jet spray functionality. This was quite disappointing and added to the overall discomfort of my stay. - *Lack of Attention to Detail*: What struck me as particularly unacceptable was seeing luggage belonging to guests of other nationalities being transported in a luggage trolley, while it seemed like the staff didn't care much about the Indian guests. This kind of behavior comes across as discriminatory and unwelcoming. Overall, my stay at Hotel Metro Kuala Lumpur was average at best, but the poor reception, maintenance issues, lack of basic amenities, and lack of attention to detail made it a disappointing experience. Good hotel with polite staffs. very good breakfast severed specially in indian cuisines. loved the aesthetics of room with any amazing city high rise and magnificent road view. Well location to move and walk around butik bintang to enjoy and explore night life..so many malls around the area to explore. mino rail etc is easily accessible. and good indian hotels around for indian tourist.

Would definitely recommend the Metro hotel to people travelling to Kualalumpur..top notch service..breakfast buffet was awesome 👌 overall value for money
