Anggun Boutique Hotel

At the last minute we booked the hotel and checked into the flight, once we reached the hotel we stood around 3 hours in international. No one was there at reception and we called them no response. When we asked for a refund to makemytrip they said the hotel is not allowing us to cancel for one day, but the hotel owner said we are not charging at all, and they gave an invoice for one day only. Very bad experience from makemytrip at first time. The reason they are telling me is that i need to intimate for late check in but our concern is what will happen in case of an emergency at night. Be very careful this issue happened for a lot of people it seems, and hotel reception will be available from 12pm to 11pm.

I had a good time. It’s a classical hotel. Little smelly of of oil in the room.

Location is indeed excellent with access to all nearby tourist locations and night markets. Rooms are small but manageable. You should definitely take massage service in the hotel- top quality. Recommended.

Breakfast is not good. No buffet. Not good quality of food, very simple and basic, quite expensive for what it is. Very good situation, easy to find anything outside of the tel in the street. Good people working there, very hospitality and simple hotel.

We had gone to Angunn boutique hotel in December of 2014 and we had a pleasant and eventful stay. Located in central Bukit Bintang district, it has a lot of amenities and facilities nearby. Also the Petronas tower is visible from the terrace of the hotel. With the Chinatown and Tamil restaurants nearby food will not be a problem. Also there are a lot of bars and pubs and shops and massage parlors nearby so you do not need to go too far to look for some entertainment! The hotel staff is friendly and helpful and they ensure clean and well maintained rooms. The colonial building is a feast for the eyes and is kept pretty well considering it is such an old one! One of the things I looked forward to the most was the amazing breakfast they serve there. One can select from a variety of dishes they offer. The hotel is not a very big one but they ensure quality in whatever they have. One negative point is that it is a bit too expensive for the limited amenities they have.

Hotel location is very good and convenient. The room per say is clean and comfortable. There is a scope for improvement in serving breakfast. Menu for breakfast could have been better. I can say that the overall stay was value for money. I recommend stay at this hotel.
