Blue Tara Hotel Krabi Ao Nang

My stay here was wonderful! The location couldn’t be better—everything from the beach, food joints, 7/11, and even rental options was just a short walk away. I always felt safe, even when heading out alone at 3 AM. The staff were polite and welcoming, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the room service was spot on. Overall, it’s a convenient, safe, and pleasant place to stay—I’d happily come back again!

While we were on our way to krabi from phuket we didn't have any prior booking and then we decided to book this hotel because the price per room was good however we weren't sure about the rooms. The room was surprisingly awesome with bath tub at that price. The hotel location is nice too. It is walking distance from ao nang beach. The service was too good and breakfast was delicious except the fried rice. Special thanks to receptionist "sunshine" for assistant and services

We traveled as a family and the hotel have us a free upgrade. Although we checked out by 12 noon, we enjoyed the spa services followed by pool Side relaxation till evening the staff did all we requested and more. Great experience.

It was great stay at Buri Tara, staff was very friendly and helping, we reached 4 hours before our check-in time and they gave us our room without taking a baht. Hotel located near to Ao nang beach which is 2 minutes walking and you can enjoy the evening in krabi by walking in market. Take a beer from 7 eleven and enjoy the evening.

Great location, very near Ao Nang night market. Walking 10 mins. Swimming pool facing room, good breakfast, always smiling staff, provided packed breakfast box at 6 am also. Good place to stay.

We had pathetic experience. In this hotel. With spider and cockroach inside room. Pool timing was only till 7 pm which is really bad as no one could enjoy after a day trip. There wasn't much option for vegetarian so don't book hotel if you are vegetarian. Upon asking the served smelly noodles and rice which can was not eatable.

Location of this hotel is bang on. I had a room on 5th floor and it had a partial view of the Sea. The hotel itself is very nice, got nice rooms. The pool was OK, never used it. Wont mind staying here again.

Hotel's very centrally located making it close to the Beach and the market. The service was also prompt with the staff being very courteous.

Me and my wife stayed at Buri Tara for 3 nights recently, we really loved it there. It's at the peaceful location of the Ao nang area, not near MacDonald's where it's very crowded. Both the beaches are in walking distance from Buri Tara. Service is very good, behavior of staffs are very good. The downsides are, breakfast is expensive, but there are lot of street carts Around with great food. And, if people talk loudly at the other room, it's completely audible and sometime annoying. The swimming pool is small and occupied by many guests from morning, not enough room for everyone, we are not interested at swimming in the pool so it didn't matter much to us. We got good deal from MakeMyTrip, for a Resort in that price at a peaceful location, it was a great stay. They gave us our room in morning as we had early morning Nok air flight from Bangkok, that's a very good gesture. Try the other Beach at your right hand Side for swimming, it's much less crowded than Ao Nang Beach. Eat at the food court in evening on the way to Ao Nang center at the left Side of the Road little before Himalaya jewel y shop, that's the cheapest and best place to try local food. A bonus info, from the Airport you have choice to take a van or taxi to Ao Nang Beach area. If you take van, it will be good, but it will take a Long ride as the driver will have to drop each guests at their hotel and our driver even stopped at a travel booking shop and managed to sell return ticket and other tours to all the passengers except us as we know it's not the right place to buy tours, we always go with online deals which are often better, so there he stopped for half hour. You can go to Beach easily. Hotel staff is good. Breakfast should have more options, but I still give thumbs up.
Superb location. Rooms can be little big but this seems problem in any Thailand hotels. Breakfast was OK no Indian options.

We stayed for 3 days. It was a pleasant stay here. The location is good. Ao nang beach is only few minutes walk away. There is a tuk tuk stand very close by in case you don't want to walk. There is a pharmacy, currency exchange and a bike rental shop right opposite to the hotel property. The property is well maintained and was quite clean. The room we stayed in was well lit and all basic amenities were provided. Staff was also courteous and helped us out with our queries regarding Ao nang. The main downside I felt was that it didn't really feel like a good star resort. We had stayed other hotels in Phuket which felt much more luxurious for the same amount. The room was small and wifi was terribly slow. Also, the food choice for a vegetarian was very limited in breakfast menu. But on the whole, it is a decent hotel. But do explore other cheaper hotels around.
On the whole the room was fine, no complaints as such except for the small size. Room was clean, hotel property was well maintained, staff was courteous. Also the room was well lit. But the facilities were not up-to good star hotel standard.
