Hilton Colombo

The view from the property was very nice, overlooking the sea and lake. The location is very approachable. Food was decent. Though they could add more veg options.

Stay was excellent. Very warm staff. Everything was easily accessible. Very apt location of the hotel. Sea view was amazing from the room

The hotel has an excellent location with a view to the sea as well as the lake and centrally located to the main sightseeing locations. The breakfast spread is vast with multi cuisine options.

Comfortable stay at heart of the city and all the malls , famous cafés are accessible and breakfast spread was really nice .

No extra beds. No blankets. Hotel staff and the duty manager say there are shortages due to season time. Suite booked not given as per expectations ordered extra towels no one has done for 3 hours very bad experience.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at the colombo hilt-on for 2 nights with our family. We booked a deluxe room with sea view and twin beds through makemytrip. While the property exceeded our expectations in terms of its excellent maintenance, amenities, and top-notch service, we were disappointed to find that our room did not offer the promised sea view. Despite this hiccup, our stay was thoroughly enjoyable. The hotel's location is unbeatable, offering stunning views of the indian ocean and easy access to colombo's key attractions. The staff were warm, friendly, and efficient, ensuring our every need was promptly attended to. The room itself was spacious, well-appointed, and impeccably clean. The beds were comfortable, and the amenities were modern and functional. We appreciated the ample breakfast spread and enjoyed our meals at the hotel's restaurants. While we would highly recommend the colombo hilt-on for its overall excellence, we hope the management takes steps to ensure room allocations match bookings. A sea view would have elevated our experience to perfection.

Property in the exact city centre with a walking distance to beach, parliament building, dutch shopping mall and other local shopping area. Good amenities with amazing breakfast options even for vegetarians. The only issue we faced was the room. We had informed in advance about double bed and baby cot but we were given a room with 2 single beds and no baby cot. When we told again about our requirements that we had requested for we were shifted to another floor that was under construction and in the day we could hear a lot of noises. Apart from this a good experience.

I find location by taxi driver and restaurant search by google but i have not good experience check in time they told me that my bookings not show and denied check in

My stay was well hospitalised and very courteous staff’s, room was excellent and hygiene, the rate is bit high but you won’t regret your stay there, it’s worth paying

Pros - staff, clean, value for money, views, location. Note: the ambience from the entry gate till the lift is has a modern theme. But as soon as you enter the room, feels like you have been transported back to the 80's or 90's. Doesn't mean it was a bad ambience, just that the rooms have a retro feel to them. Cons - the breakfast was cold. Each and every dish we picked up, was cold.

Good food with more varieties also have indian food corner, good amenities and staf are so good cleanness also good

View from room was great. Room service was prompt. Checkin and checkout was smooth. Breakfast was a good spread. Overall, good stay.

I reached hotel at 3. 30 pm. But check in counter informed room not ready. And we have to wait for 30 to 45 minutes. When check in time is 2 pm why this happen. During breakfast also very irregularities seen. Tea or coffee was served without tea spoon. We have to ask again for that. Tea was cold. Too much staff are there, but no one take responsibility or show the interest in work. Even their senior also behave same. Breakfast table was also not properly made ready. There was no paper napkin and spoon also. This hotel like 3 star at any bus stand or railway station not 5 star.

Hotel is under renovation and rooms are old. I did not like the stay. Swimming pool is away from the main building. For xmas entire lobby is decorated which makes it congested. Hotel drop to airport super expensive. Overall not worth.

Hilt-on colombo is a great hotel to stay. Very spacious public places and rooms great food courteous staff
