Overrated hotel. 1. Upon arrival, hotel requested us to pay an additional of 1000 riyal for the early arrival. 2. Once we entered, we discovered that we can't see al kaba, and they said if you want to see it you have to pay additional 850 riyal. Although i booked ha-ram view not city view. So its tricky, if you saw the word ha-ram that doesn't means you'll see anything worthy, you might see the end edge of the last corner of the outer side of the Haram. 3. They requested us to pay more for the breakfast, although i paid suite with breakfast. 4. They sold us zamzam water with t ripple price. Because we don't know. 35 riyal for each. While outside sold by less than 12 riyal. 5. The only thing worth in this hotel is the restaurant. I give it 5 stars and in morning there was a lady receptionist. Saudian. Very respectable, who calm us down with her reaction. I do not recommend anyone to visit this hotel, instead fairmont, the address are way cleaner and way friendly.

Raffles is certainly one of the best hotels of Makkah. Very near to the holy haram. Situated in the best tower of Makkah. Best markets and food courts in the vicinity. The most fabulous breakfast that I have seen in hotels Around the globe. Boutique hotel room. Exceptional cleanliness and marvellous hospitality. A worthwhile stay.
