It was a short stay, we got what we expected. It is 1 km from masjid al haram walking to masjid al haram would be a challenge as the um al qura road has steep ups. Nevertheless you could catch a taxi for soar 5 to 10 easily to commute. Also you got makkah bus shuttle service which you can take towards masjid al haram.
Basic hotel but close to ha-ram

It’s a very basic Al Shahba Hotel Makkah with no amenities (not even water bottles) but walkable distance to ha-ram around 25 mins walk, you get what you paid for. Suggest this Al Shahba Hotel Makkah for solo traveler on budget.
