Very Good Stay, recommended for fami

The stay was excellent, and the property is conveniently located just 25–30 minutes from the International Airport. I arrived around 11:00 a.m., and they allowed an early check-in, which was appreciated. Although the standard checkout time is 12:00 noon, my request for a 30-minute extension was denied—but that wasn’t a major issue for me. One of the key advantages of this property is its location in the heart of the Thamel market area. However, I was a bit disappointed that there was no welcome drink or newspaper provided, even though both were listed among the amenities. Additionally, the 10% discount on food is valid only for a single use—not on every order—which should be clearly communicated upfront. The property itself is impressive. The ambiance is pleasant, and areas like the lobby, dining space, and garden are all well-maintained, as are the rooms. My only concerns were with the bathroom: the Western-style toilet was quite small, and there were visible stains in the shower drain area. The breakfast was excellent and included a good selection of Indian dishes. Overall, I had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend this place for families.

My stay at Kathmandu Guest House was amazing, the staff is really friendly easy checkin process. The Kathmandu Guest House by KGH Group is located in the heart of Thamel market which is the party place of Kathmandu and is also located in centre of Kathmandu thereby making access to various markets at a walking distance. The food is amazing highly recommended to have dinner on a friday or saturday night, even the Pizza is really good and tea is fantastic. However it closes by 9 Pm local time. I visited it with my family, it is family, couple and Batchelor friendly. Highly recommend this Kathmandu Guest House by KGH Group for stay in Kathmandu

location is prime at Thamel.Room is clean and maintained.But washroom is bit small compared to price.The complimentary breakfast provides several options and is good but the general price of food is high.The most significant thing is that this Kathmandu Guest House by KGH Group is one of the oldest in Kathmandu and has hosted several prominent international figures. like Sir Hillary,Beatles and many more

KGH- a perfect place to stay in Kathmandu, Thamel. The place, the room, the vibe, the food all are ‘amazing’ in a word. The Kathmandu Guest House by KGH Group is within the Thamel Market, where you not only enjoy shopping but also few amazing cafes and bar with good food. It is just 6-7 km from the airport and Pashupatinath temple. The staffs are very polite and cordial.
