A one night stay in Durbar Hotel, Kathmandu

We stayed in Durbar Durbar Hotel & Residence in Thamel area in Kathmandu on 14th October '25. The old is a bit old but well maintained with friendly staff. The deluxe room booked by us was okay for 2 adults ..the bathroom fittings were good and clean. The food in the restaurant was superb and we availed of a packed breakfast for an early morning flight. this Durbar Hotel & Residence is very well located in Thamel with the Durbar Square and shopping district very close by. Excellent for 1/2 days stay in the heart of Kathmandu.

I stayed for four days. Very nice stay at darbar Durbar Hotel & Residence. Property is located in heart of city. Amenities are very good. Cleanliness is well maintained in and around property. Staff is gentle and cooperative. Food was excellent. Hospitality was very good.
