Amara Bangkok

The stay was amazing and hotel services are good.

Had an excellent stay at the Amara Bangkok. The room was a good size, with the king bed both spacious and comfortable. The bathroom too was quite spacious, with a decent-sized walk-in shower. The rooms were clean, smelt great, and the housekeeping staff did an amazing job every day they cleaned the room. The reception staff were also very polite and cheerful during both check-in and check-out. The breakfast is excellent and they had a good variety of options to choose from. The hotel is walking distance from many excellent dining and drinking establishments nearby, as well as the BTS and MRT systems.

Good hotel but not deserving of a 5-star, way too expensive with less amenities

I booked a stay at the executive suite, with a perfect view, spacious and comfy too! the infinity pool is a must to visit during sunset hour. The location of the hotel is prominent(nearby mahanakho) and convenient to the metro station. The staff is very courteous and helpful. Absolute worth for a perfect staycation!

Amara bangkok is very well located in the silom road area. Most tourists prefer to stay in the sukhumvit area, but this area is so much nicer- especially because it's better connected to multiple mart / buts sky-train stations that also give quick connectivity to the sathorn pier, making trips to asiatique/iconsiam or any of the other attractions so much easier. If you take one of the premium rooms at amara, you get a fantastic view of the skyline and you can also enjoy a good view at their pool bar (including spotting watt arun in its golden glow by night) the rooms are spacious, airy and lots of natural sunlight. There are a lot of good convenience stores and markets nearby so you can stock on good local snacks as well. The housekeeping and front desk staff are extremely nice and polite and they will also help you book a grab cab if you need any help! do visit the nearby chong nonsi skywalk and canals

Great location. Very helpful staffs. 7-11 stores are just next to the hotel. Foot massage parlours, great restaurants and medical stores all just opposite to the hotel. Taxis tuk tuk everything available right outside the hostel.

We paid over $100 a night for the room but found it a complete waste. The staff laughs at you and is not courteous. You can keep hearing bounces from the adjacent room. There Is no cutlery in the room and we had to call and ask for tolietaries. It was out anniversarty forget sending a cake the staff didn’t even wish us. Overall I believe it’s a complete waste of money to stay here.

Best part is roof top pool and bar. Location is excellent. Foot massages and night market is very close to the hotel. But the worst part in this hotel is English speaking and food management. In morning breakfast restaurant, the waitress and managers are so rude and can't speak proper English and also as we are vegetarian. But they have very few options for veg food and they made very big noodle station. I was happy to see that but finally I found that they already pre-added pork in the main soup. Hotel should take care of all such small things.
