A newly opened gem in Maldives

With just a month old in operation and very few reviews available, we tried our luck with this Resort and oh boy, it turned out to be one of our best finds ever. I'm sure this Resort is going to get popular very soon and the availability is going to be a question. Me and my wife wanted this to be a special romantic trip and we chose Maldives as the destination, but what is the most difficult part is choosing the right property to spend your vacation, as it's highly impossible to do stay in multiple properties on a short trip. Ours was a 3 nights plan we reached the Resort only around 8 pm (thanks to the cancelled domestic flight). The Emerald staff was available right from Male Airport to help us and he was so nice to arrange a guide to visit Male City, which was nearby. Right from then to the domestic transfer and then on the Sea boat, there were representatives from the Resort to help you everywhere till you reach the Resort. We reached the island and we have Srikanth (GM, Emerald) Afsar (our personal butler) and 5 others waiting to welcome us with champagne and refreshments. We are then given a tour of the property and then suggested with an itinerary for the entire stay based on our preferences. Afsar was always checking with us to see if everything is alright and he didn't stop even when we left the Resort and kept checking until we reached back home safely. That's customer love! People are so nice and helpful at all times and you just feel special being there. We stayed in a water villa for 2 night and tried a jacuzzi Beach villa for another night. The rooms were clinically designed they just look so fresh and clean all the time. The water villas are out of the world and I personally like the hammock they have out on the patio by the pool. We tried scuba diving for the first time, and it was just out of the world. I've heard friends come back from scuba saying we hardly saw anything but OMG, we've literally seen around a million fishes. The coral formations are amazing and the vision is so clear under the sun as the waves are blocked perfectly on the sea. We also tried kayak, snorkeling and few more activities. Cycling around the island is itself a fun thing to do all day. Our package had an all inclusive tag, which we can get anything from any restaurant/bar anytime. Leaving us totally trouble free to keep a check on anything. The restaurants are amazing and we tried all the restaurants and I personally liked the South American restaurant called, Amazoneco. The beverage manager at the bar made us cocktails with such passion and care, that tasted better than the best of the ones i've had ever. Overall, this should be on your list, in case you're looking for properties in Maldives. Happy to have chosen this property.

It is an excellent property with really friendly staff. Though it is a new property but they are at par with all other older properties. There was less of an Indian crowd so not much Indian food variety but the chef and staff who where from India prepared separate Indian food for us. Benny and Jimmy thanks for the wonderful Indian food and for such a good hospitality. You can stay in beach bungalow or over water villa, both are fantastic. I stayed on both the properties and thoroughly enjoyed. Must visit place.

Property is one of the amazing ones in maldives the best in terms of hospitality & cleanliness. Staff ensure guests are taken care right from the time you disembark the sea plane to the time you take off. Suitable for children & families
