We recently stayed at bandos, maldives, and overall, the experience was pleasant. The island’s natural beauty and the resort’s serene atmosphere were definite highlights. The staff was friendly and accommodating, ensuring our stay was comfortable. However, one aspect that dampened our experience was the mandatory charge for the christmas gala dinner. While we understand the intent to create a festive experience, being compelled to pay for it felt restrictive, especially when the dinner itself did not live up to expectations in terms of quality or variety. Despite this, the resort has its charm, and there are certainly things to enjoy about the stay. Based on our experience, i would rate it 3. 5/5. It’s a nice place, but there’s room for improvement, especially when it comes to offering guests more flexibility and enhancing the dining experience.

The Grand Park Kodhipparu Maldives is located on a private island near male which takes around 30 minutes to reach by boat. The airport to resort transfer process was very smooth because of grand parks’ airport transfer staff. The checkin process happened directly in the room where our personal “lifestyle spoc” explained the various activities available at the resort. The food is amazing at all the three restaurants. Firedoor is a fine dining restaurant and is worth experiencing atleast once. I stayed in the pool water villa and the room was very clean & well maintained. However, it is a slightly long walk from the villa to the other activities/restaurants on the resort. The buggy car service is available on call but it takes a lot of time to come. The water sports are slightly pricey. The spa was very relaxing. All in all, a great experience.

This is the best resort i have visited till date...we had a very good reception by our manager nuray...the lagoon water villas and the pool water villa were just amazing....u can drop into the sea which is just amazing...amazing infinity pool with wonderful pool side restaurant...awesome food and variety of cocktails....beaches are just amazing and too clean..overall a must visit resort in maldives
