The highlight is their diving center, and fabulous diving instructor staff who go out of their way to help you. In house reef is quite beautiful. Every thing's well denoted including where you should snorkel or dive, life jackets and free diving equipment to borrow. Velassaru restaurants are simply world class, it's not just another buffet but very talented chefs at work here. General manager at velassaru is also very friendly and constantly is seen making sure every thing's in order. Spa was not that great though and I feel that's the only area of improvement for what is otherwise one of the best experiences in Maldives.

We had a 5 day trip in the thrilling water villas of velassaru resort. They did amazed us with their surprises on each day to make every moment special. Our body have left maldives but soul is still roaming around the exotic beaches of tropical islands. We enjoyed 5 course meals as well as weather. Hope to comeback with more families members. They made our trip magical we wholeheartedly thanks velassaru for welcoming us

Excellent property with breathtaking views . Calm and tranquil island . U can see fishes at the shore as well . Good hospitality. We had a memorable stay . Only if they can reduce the speed boat transfers amts as it was almost thrice the amt we spent as compared to Maafushi .

It was a fabulous stay at vellasuru. Special call-out for sarthak joshi ( bartender staff ) for treating us with the most exotic drinks & food. Great stay.

Everything wonderful. But do not go scuba diving. It's near resort only. Snorkelling across resort is free, better and no time restrictions.
