Kaani Grand Sea view

We stayed for 2 nights. Very courteous and friendly staff. Nice rooms. Proximity to beach. Clean stay

property location is good but hospitality wise it's a two Star hotel. even they are not provide a basic water bottle. there is a hotel grocery shop, they want to buy from this shop. in room there is a glass bottle, if you require water, they'll refill the water bottle. breakfast is also very avarage, not like a four star hotel.

Kani is easily accessible via speed boat .. The property is located in prime location near Arena hotel .. it's just 1 min walking to the beach and the views are to die for .. we explored indian food which is affordable.. Kani arranges cool parties on Saturday night.. speed boat price is 25 USD. The room view was fantastic.. it's super clean and staff is very kind and humble.. Asif had really good smile and kind behaviour.. the only thing I didn't liked was we booked express checkin but they didn't allowed us till 2 pm to enter our room .. other than that such a beautiful stay .. kudos team Kaani .. love devnani family 💕

The room was below average and most of the mentioned facilities aren’t available and when asked they outrightly denied. Though the name mentioned as double room, it’s just a single room. The breakfast was good but lunch/dinner included with the package wasn’t great at all. Overall, would not suggest to choose unless there’s no other option

The stay was quite pleasant. Staff was polite and room’s view was just mesmerising

Kaani hotel location is fabulous. Being a vegetarian, breakfast buffet was largely bakery and brewed items. Restaurant staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Reception and reservations were very rigid though. If you are looking for a no frill hotel stay then Kaani is good.

It is average hotel, claim of 4 star doesn’t seem to justify. Food provided for breakfast and dinner is same almost all days and options are low and taste is not that good, it is just average and blant. Service to clean up plates is fine. Reception staff are not customer friendly. They charge more for transfers then what you can buy directly from icom tours or maafushi tours just near the jetty

Location is perfect: staff behavior is good . Sea view from balcony is excellent.The attached restaurant is good also . The only drawback is the breakfast menu is same every day not much varieties but if you’re not very selective it’s manageable

Really bad room with sticky floor and dirty towels. The bathroom stinks. No basic amenities or services given. No dental kit or toothpaste

We had a very disappointing experience at Kani Grand Sea View in Maafushi. On the very first day, the air conditioning in our room wasn’t working properly. We had to call the reception multiple times, and it took an extremely long time for them to even provide a solution. This made our first day very uncomfortable. Things got worse with multiple power outages, each lasting for hours. We had to sit in unbearable heat for 3 to 4 hours with no electricity, no fan, and no air conditioning. There was no power backup at all—no generator, nothing. The reception staff had no answers, and eventually, there was no one even available at the desk to respond to our questions. We were left in the dark—literally—just hoping the power would come back. This kind of service is simply not acceptable. We expected basic comforts at the very least. Even the ferry service for bringing the passengers from Airport to hotel was basic and delayed compared to the service we booked from another provider which was cheaper and more comfortable for the return ferry. We strongly believe a refund is justified and hope MakeMyTrip takes this seriously. The few things which were good were the location and the breakfast.

We experienced two power outages during our stay in Kani, including one on May 2nd that left us without electricity for approximately three hours in horrible heat. Additionally, the air conditioning was not functioning properly for the first day, and we had to follow up with the reception to have it addressed. Given these inconveniences, we believe a refund for at least one night is warranted. The only positive aspect of our stay was the breakfast.

Amenities mentioned on site, is not available. I have booked the room with the Bath Tub. But they told they dont have any facility.

The stay was very beautiful, right in front of bikini beach. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, esp Tiger.

Okay rooms. Slow service. Below average breakfast. Our room had water leakage from the ac, was repaired on informing.

The hotel is right in front of the beach called beach and the view is very good for the ones which have balcony. The food is decent especially if you want to eat indian food. The breakfast buffet also has good options. Only thing is that there is no swimming facility in the kaani grand sea view if you want to visit and take pictures you can go to the property beside the hotel which is kaani palm but that too only for pictures. There’s a free movie under the stars done on the tuesdays and thursdays you can check with the receptionist for that. Also the activities and the resort options are good with kaani management.
