Eriyadu Island Resort

We booked a seaview room but we got room on first floor where there was no sea view there were only trees covering balcony. No activities for guests Even on saturdays. Only staff is good Food was also average at lunch time. But I want some refund for the room as The room which I booked and For single day I paid as transport and I did not got that view so there should be some compensation for this.

Paying huge amount, no toiletries, cost of water was more expensive than alcoholic beverages ( staying in humid area they should have some decency in providing filtered water )

Resort is well maintained and not crowded. Beach is very accessible from cottages. Scuba diving and snorkeling were fun. Food was alright. Similar food was repeated across the days we stayed there. Not kid friendly, and except for the pool, there is nothing for kids.

Calm clear waters with various kinds of fishes, natural beauty, good beach villa, good staff, various options for food.

Nice place. Affordable property. Good rooms. Lovely beach. Tasty food. Variety of food. Variety for vegetarians. Lots of activities.

Location is best and food, hygiene and safety standards are excellent

The property is very nice and clean. The food is also nice and the staff is very courteous. Overall a good property.

Stayed for 5 nights, it was a great experience overall. The biggest positive point is - the house reef is very much active and we got to see a lot of variety of sea life - Turtle, Eel, lemon shark, stingray, and many colorful fishes near the beach bar. My son used to put a snorkel mask on every day and swim around looking at the fish. Even people who can't swim can walk in the water to see the amazing marine life. The resort is around 50 minute by speedboat ride, we were quickly escorted to boat upon arrival without any waiting time. The transfer charges per person - it seems high but most resorts charge more than this so fine. The transfer and check-in experience was fast and good. The return transfer are at limited times, but well managed. We stayed in the Deluxe beach house - it is right on the beautiful beach. The rooms are big enough for a family of 4 and well maintained and clean. I especially liked the open shower area. I didn't see any refurbishing work ongoing as mentioned by some reviewers and our room seems to be refurbished already. The rooms are cleaned twice a day and the staff is courteous and welcoming. We felt well looked after. Special thanks to Noble who always came to check if everything is good and if we need anything. The other guy at the blitz bar, the front desk manager, chefs all were very friendly and chatted with us every time we went there. We tipped few guys like the one who came to clean the room, the luggage guys, for Blitz bar I assume 10% service charge was included already in the bill. I didn't feel that the staff was serving based on tips (at least not openly). The food rates are reasonable from Maldives' resort standards. It is highly recommended that you go for a full onboard package, or all-inclusive if you like to drink. Also, you can carry your own snorkeling equipment, else you will spend equally renting it there ( it is included in the all-inclusive package). There is a store near the front desk for buying any essentials, but it was expensive. Areas of improvement : 1. Complimentary water provided is just 2 ltr per day, which was very less for us, we ended up buying a lot of additional water per bottle while the same bottle you can get for 50 percents in male. 2. Kids center is not well looked after. There are no good toys, books, coloring kits - nothing much to keep kids engaged. It needs some attention and betterment. The gym is also very small. 3. Food variety is very limited for breakfast as well as meals.

Good location and best place to relaxing.

Good for stay, for children it's average, food was average for Indians, they don't disclose that at the time of dinner water is chargeable.

I stayed at Eriyadu with my family for 4 days, clean and neat rooms, service at the restaurant was good specially the lady and Gopi I believe sorry forgot their names were very good at asking us what we want and helping us with all our needs. Ali at the diving club was awesome, helped us with the snorkeling. Concerns: no dental kit, shaving kit, I had to pay for 3 toothbrushes and a paste, never asked for a shaving kit wondering what their charges would be, food was ok but complete Chinese menu since there were more Chinese guests, the food menu for breakfast/ lunch/ dinner was repeated all 4 days during our day, not much options to order as well, bars serve a fixed starter menu, can add more options, I suggest guests should carry their own nuts and cereals/ chips because you don't get them there if you wanted anything light along with your drink. The water sports was like fixed sports on fixed days, I asked the person to help us with the water sports, but he said no, it's only on Thursday, Friday and Sunday, even after we requested to try this activity on Saturday since we are leaving on a Sunday he was like turning his back and not even ready to listen, one of the cook at the buffet asked him what eggs are these, chicken/ duck, he was like could be anything, we were like what happening, we asked him to add a little salt and pepper while preparing our omelet he says no we don't it's there on your table you can use it, but we will not add this when we cook. Strange with their behaviors. Overall liked the service by a couple of folks at the restaurant and bar but was an average stay.

Excellent place for relaxation and quiet escape. Amazing service by the hotel staff. Good variety in the buffet.

Eriyadu and the staff made our stay very memorable at Maldives. This was our first holiday in Maldives and they made sure we enjoyed every bit of it. Great location, great corals, awesome food, superb staff, what else does someone need for a great holiday?

Stayed in Eriyadu Island Resort for 3 nights between 8th to 11th October 2019. The Resort beat my expectations and I had absolutely nothing to complain about. The staff was very cordial end cooperative. Room location was just next to the Beach and it was quite private. There were reef sharks next to the jetty and could be easily spotted while snorkeling. We encountered a few during our scuba dive. Our instructor Carole was amazing and made our dive fantastic.

Wonderful place to stay and friendly staff. Surrounding sea is rich in marine life. We saw few baby sharks, rays and different varieties of fish. My 3 years old baby enjoyed a lot.
