Everything perfect at Gangehi Island resort

Excellent resort. My trip was short but the experience was awesome. We booked a over water villa, but got a free upgrade to deluxe. Over water villa. The room was simply awesome. Spacious, well maintained and very comfortable. We hardly felt anyone else at the resort except for the breakfast, lunch and dinner. We booked a full board, and the Velli restaurant had enough variety to touch your taste buds. If you are planning to save some money on sea plane transfers, you can opt for Nevi speed boat transfer and it costs per person both ways as compared to the sea plane transfer of per person. Also you can bring your own water if you want to avoid spending per bottle of water.

The resort is spectacularly beautiful marooned by lagoons. The villas are very aesthetically built and offer splendid views of the sea and the sunset. During our stay we were a bit disappointed with the vegetarian options for lunch and dinner, but the overall dining experience was good. Please note that water is chargeable as per the management policy here which was quite shocking to us. We would rate our stay experience as excellent otherwise.

It was a dream we lived there. Starting from the villa to the beaches to the food to the facilities, all were simply exceptional. On top of it, the staff's behavior calls for special mention, equally humble and helpful.
