Haibay hotel

the staff is very nice and understanding despite of the language barrier. hotel is neat and clean, food was good. location is even better since its on the main road and has easier access to local market and cafes and restaurants. would come back here again!

Really pleasant experience staying at the Haibay Hotel. Room was immaculate. Facilities were great. Receptionist was well versed and polite.

The hotel though centrally located in the old quarters is only raking in business because of it's location. Had booked the superior room with balcony(highest category. Stayed on the 8th floor. The room was decent but the balcony is not a balcony. It is an engaged area where guests cannot enter there is no balcony furniture (nor there is space. You can just barely stand there. The water pressure is very low and difficult to have a bath. The water is just like warm, and one feels cold the breakfast is below average where the kitchen does not know how to do items on the menu. I ordered eggs benedict and was given a sandwich instead, with apologies that the chef cannot make the eggs. Tje overall spread is very basic and lacks taste. The restaurant which works. Only for breakfast is dated and looks worn out. Tje food quality being just very average. They do not have english breakfast tea and only offer a flavored tea which smelt of some rotton flowers. The carpet in the very narrow corridoor leading to. The room is worn out and in poor condition. By mistake we lost our key card and were charged 200000 dong, and were not given a reciept for the same. Ovwrall there are many better looking hotels in the neabourhood and this one can be given a miss.
