Horrible experience - Sleepless night

Even though booked and paid almost a week and received confirmation mail as well, after reaching hotel at 4AM - Got to know that my booking was not confirmed from hotel. Then after several follow-ups with Makemytrip agent at 7AM they found my booking in system at hotel and it was confirmed already. Then they mentioned there is no rooms available. They given room only for next day stay. Still waiting for refund to come back for day 1 night
