Barcelo Coconut Island

We went to maldives on our honeymoon, & then in the second year of our marriage we discovered Phuket & viola there was the village on coconut island. Being someone who has been to paradise island in maldives, i felt that it was the same experience sans the water villa. They upgraded us from a luxury suit to garden view villa (2. 5x the cost) on being a honeymooning couple. From the point of lam hin lagoon pier, you can feel their service levels wherein they manage everything for your stay end to end. You can enjoy the white beaches, tennis, cycling, kayaking (free of cost) & thai boxing, thai cooking, surfing, sailing, island tours (additional cost. The food buffet in the morning is just splendid. Only one catch keep your rooms locked when you go out due to ants/ insects which would be at any given resort. Experienced serenity, tranquility & serendipity (options kept coming up) on the island. Even for bachlors who have planned 2-3 days in Phuket do spend a day here but book a villa, it will be worth it.

DO NOT WASTE Your Time in Phuket town or Patong for more than a day or two and VISIT this property for atleast 2-3Nights for having a beautiful memory for a lifetime. The Resort itself is on a island cut off from the mainland and the resort provides free boat shuttle to and fro every hour. Property is spread across huge land mass facing the beach. During low tides, the beach is dried up and once the tide rises during evening, Beach is a sight. The whole beach is private and you ll hardly spot handful of people. Go for LUX Outdoor Jacuzzi room, the jacuzzi is heated 24 hrs without any switch. Food is great, Breakfast is lumpsum. The best thing is that they organise Private tour to Koh Rang Yai Island, free of cost, batches are small ( mine was 5 people only). You get to have a Long tail boat ride and the rang yai island is totally empty at days with crystal clear greenish blue water to chill there This resort makes my Thailand visit worth it.

The place is located on an island on the edge of Phuket. Pros- excellent property, great service, amazing rooms. Cons- there is hardly any veg food options across all meals. There are two restaurants and they together don't serve more than 3 or 4 veg dishes. At the price u pay for the rooms and breakfast, u expect at-least the breakfast to have decent veg options, but very few available. The other con is how your plans need to strictly align with the timings of the boats, the boats run once every hour and if u miss it, then good luck for another whole hour. Missed one of my morning trips cause of this

Imagine having a lavish breakfast facing the sea, overcast conditions, soft breeze and the beauty of the resort and its guests around you. Lovely property away from the hustle of patong, amazing food, facilities an island on an island. Perfect for couples and family outings. We had a wonderful spacious suite with private jacuzzi. The head manager hasan was always very helpful, and saw to it that we enjoyed and relaxed the most. The thai and italian restaurants on the beach from serve amazing delicacies, thanks to it restaurant manager leicester. Felt like being in maldives at a fraction of its cost.

Resort was very good with 3 pools and 3 restaurants. But we face terrible issue with ac and eventually had to change our room. New room was not having any sort of pressure while bathing which was terrible. Overall a good experience but they need to improve on these things to make a memorable one

The stay was really good, amazing vibe and the best part was the number of swimming pools. The three restaurants offer amazing choice of food and the staff was really courteous. The check in and check out experience was also smooth. They also offer free of cost ferries from and to Phuket.

Wonderful stay at the island and they take care of guests very well. Rooms are very thoughtfully decorated and has all the things you need. The complimentary activities are must try for an excellent stay. Hasan the manager was very welcoming.

It was a pleasant stay with good amenities here and good food with my family here for a night with beautiful view

Our stay at the Barceló coconut island resort in Phuket was unforgettable. It was a beautiful and so relaxing property! Great place for nature lovers. Few minutes away from mainland by speed boat. Available 24 hours which is very convenient.

Nice resort with great ambience. But too hot, offers complementary kayak and sailing, in a private beach

The property is really beautiful & amazing. The cottage with jacuzzi was quite amazing. Service is up to the mark, swimming pools are nice. We are vegetarian so we hadn't much food options but it was manageable.

We booked 3 room here for 6 person i mean 3 couple it was excellent stay with good healthy breakfast

Great place to stay for a whole week, and i still want to stay longer. Hospitality was good. All tours can be booked from the island itself.

The resort itself very amazing, peaceful and beautiful. And most importantly mr. Hasan zaki was very polite and helpful, he just made our stay even more memorable. He upgraded our lux jacuzzi room into sea view pool villa.

The property is very clean and their staff members are very helpful in fulfilling any requirement we have from our side.

premium property, nice place indian chef available and hasan property manager is from Bangladesh he is very helpful for us understand the Hindi language and emotion .

Beautiful resort with a scenic view, beach front resort with good amenities. We really enjoyed a lot.

Amazing property. Ferry is 24 hrs. View is awsum and food is delicious and not much expensive. Highly recommended.
