Majestic Tourist Hotel

It was more like PG than hotel. we were not allowed to enter after 9:30 pm, there were no dustbins and you cannot through baby diaper. Moreover if you are coming with kids please don't opt for this as they have issues if baby is making noice.

The place is close to city centre and on public bus route (35 LKR). You can enjoy a short trip around beautiful Kandy Lake each time. Our room was clean and quickly set up. It offered a majestic view of the Kandy Hill tracks. But the biggest star of the show was Joseph, the host. He is such a humble and nice guy. We had a hangout for nearly two hours at late night which could clearly go on for a couple of hours more. He is by far the most reliable person we found in Sri Lanka for everything you need to know as a first timer travelling here. Feel free to contact him for advice. No dustbin was there and we should carry our napkins with us . No other issues . Stay is in a scenic place.

place is good but for older adults walking up the steep hill and climbing stairs can be a problem. If one has a car, then it's okay. It's a great place for young and active people. Senior citizens will find it difficult, if they don't have access to a vehicle.

Most ordinary hotel with no amenities. One serious issue is that there is a privacy issue. Ventilator of the bathroom, not in secure place.. tourist must be careful and light light should be off while using the bathroom because anybody can pee through the ventilator into the bathroom from outside

Nice stay, neat and clean. Very helping manager. Super food. Top roof restaurant is with great view.

It is value for money. Courteous and pleasant team. Facilities as appropriate to the cost. Cleanliness is good. Roof top restaurant view is good.

Simple one, can stay for one day. We stayed one night, hot water is available, food is average, car parking is little tricky. No lift is provided to reach roof top dining area. Service and staff is very kind and co-operative
