Amaya Hills

Amaya Hills offers one of the best scenic views in Kandy — the rooms are comfortable and the surroundings are beautiful. However, the food was quite disappointing and not very tasty, and the service could be much better. Overall, it was an okay stay, but there’s plenty of room for improvement in both food quality and service standards.

Excellent location and view. Very nice breakfast spread. If you are staying in Kandy this I recommend this hotel.

The property is really good, it is clean and situated at top of the hill. It has amazing views and the rooms are big and beautiful. The food is average. The staff is friendly but does not cater to all the necessities.

The property is overlooking a hill. Very good hill views. The rooms are good and the food is also good. The staff is courteous . This hotel is a big property so no close by shops or eateries. Kandy city closes early so if you are in city centre better to leave early to go back.

Very good property, worm welcome and staff is really good to help us. In breakfast we requested for Jain food and the chef prepared nice dishes for us. Thanks a lot

Location of the property was extremely good, it was away and at an higher altitude from the main city. Very good infra, food and services was good.

Nice Hotel with lot of greenary around. Located on top of a hill… little far from city but worth it. We spent kore time at hotel rather than city I would have given 5 star rating but only Cons is No lift and very very small toilet. If you are tall, broad and big- it uncomfortable. Good vegetarian options

My stay at Amaya in Kandy was truly exceptional! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, the rooms were spotless and comfortable, and the location was perfect for exploring the city.

view from hotel is really good. breakfast for vegetarian hindu was limited and was not marked separately from non vegetarian items. only 2 water bottles were provided in the room which is way too less for 2 adults and 2 kids. atleast the basic necessity should be provided adequately.

A wonderful resort up the hill with a beautiful view from the balcony. The food is very bad in case you opt for alacarte. A good experience to go up the hill through a spiral drive. Pl carry your dinner with you in case you don't wanna have buffet as you will be disappointed with alacarte dinner

Amaya hills kandy is a good property with humble staffs and ambience are of international standard. Only issue with vegetarian foods as we faced issues with veg options. Otherwise good hotel

The entrance and common areas are definitely 5-star quality, but the rooms fall short of expectations. The washroom, in particular, only has a bathtub with no separate shower area, so you’re forced to bathe in the tub, which feels cramped. The lid of the toilet was loose, falling back repeatedly, and there was a clog in the water, though housekeeping responded promptly and resolved it. While the public spaces give a 5-star impression, the accommodations themselves don’t live up to that standard, and the property seems a bit dated. The reception also needs improvement, as you often have to follow up with them, and their standard response is to ask you to take a seat.

I stayed there for 2 days. It was fantastic stay. Hotel location was beautiful. Food was great and all the staffs were very courteous and attentive to our queries.

View from the room was nice. Indian food was terrible. Avoid any buffet, taste of food not good.
