Metro Port City Hotel

My stay here was booked for 2 nights and it was worst experience I have ever had. There were no amenities provided which were mentioned while booking. Not even a blanket was provided. Upon confrontation receptionist mentioned they only provide bedsheet and no blanket. There were hygiene issues as well. The bed was full of Ants, there were cockroaches in the room. Even the waste sink water couldn’t get into drainage. The water was coming out with insects from the drainage. No kettle, toiletries, mini fridge was provided. There were other guests who felt the same issues. I did contact MMT but no resolution provided.

Amazing hotel perfect start for solo traveller , very near by attraction places , staff if good

Our stay was terrible. Do not go on photographs, Hotel is like a hostel. Location is not nice & very noisy. Also the staff is very rude. Dirty Bedsheets. Water sepage stains on wall.

It is not a 3 star hotel as stated, it should be rated -3 star, broken tv, not properly functioning ac, customer service is poorest, no fan, sometimes ac don't function properly.

No words totally waste of money

This hotel is one of the best spot of the Colombo city. The hotel is very good and big size rooms. The attached bathroom is very clean. Stuff of this hotel is very good. They very friendly.

The hotel was not at all clean as it was shown in the pictures the property is very old there are big mouse in the hallway and there is some construction going on in the hotel which was very annoying as it had constant hammering noise . The bathroom was not at all clean the toilet seat keeps moving , bathroom has cob webs , the room has dirty walls , dirty linen , no comforter provided & they don’t even have basic cutlery like spoon plates etc . Won’t recommend unless it’s very necessary. Not worth the price

I can not explain.The staff are good.plumbing work is not done to the reasonable standards.room no 602 ,there is water seepage.

The hotel does not match the pictures shown. Management is poor, and both the ac and fan are not working. The staff is unfriendly. Overall, it was a very bad experience.

It is tucked away in a narrow lane. The property has water leakage in all the 3 rooms we stayed. Booked in a rush for transit visa purpose. It is close to port city and one galle mall and the big 5 star hotels. If it were not raining and leakages into the rooms, it would have been better. We literally had to wear our shoes through out the stay. The staff are very friendly.

Location was good, in the heart of the city. Rooms are average and hotel did not provide shower cap, soap and shampoo. Else everything was ok. Recommend only for short stay. The only thing i like about hotel was friendly staff and plenty of food restaurants nearby area. Else everything was average.

The hotel is not good, unprofessional environment. No facilities. Not good service, bad location.
