Indian food options were limited

The stay was great. The best part about the property was the private beach and the very helpful staff. This place is bang on the money.

Great location, private beach access and scenic garden. 4 restaurants on site...Great ambience never felt like to go out for sightseeing. However would recommend to include indian dishes as this was a challenge. Also would suggest the Pool bar persons to be more friendly and keep a smiling gesture which was missing.

The hotel is a perfect blend of serene and scenic beauty with 5 star value. You have a perfect view of mountains from the beach which is just a step outside your room. I absolutely loved it and 💯 recommend to all.

Dont go for it guys. Not at all as shown in youtube videos. Terrible experience. Congested bathroom. Old furniture. Disgusting breakfast. Slow service. Not at all worthy for this huge price. Only 1 lift which is unavailable sometimes.

On day one how they received us and helping us check-in faster because we have kids they are polite and wonderful people. The last day while checkout also helped us get faster process and very down to earth people who are very friendly and respectful and always trying to help

The resort location is 10/10. As they have private beach and it's right infront of the resort. I had booked Garden beach view room. It was so amazing. The amenities were good. Everyday the room was cleaned. There is a play area for kids and my baby loved playing there. We chose room with breakfast option so we got to try their breakfast buffet. They had a large spread of breakfast with lots of varities. Local cuisine, Varities of breads, salads, juices, live Omlette section. But one thing I would like to recommend is to provide South Indian cuisine like Idly or dosa. They had only vadai, chapathi with 2 curries which wasn't tasty. They had wide options for lunch and dinner as well. Though we didn't take actual lunch or dinner, we ordered few items and they were tasty. The pool is Amazing. It's well maintained and there is a pool bar which is cool. overall we had an amazing stay at Holiday Villa. As it was my baby 1st birthday it was very special and memorable.

Property is Beach facing and is at a great location. Very close to cenang beach. Has good outdoor swimming pool. Haven’t tried food at the property. Rooms are clean, can be little more modern!

I did a 4 nights stay in Holiday Villa and I must say it's a beautiful property. The check-in time though is 3 on reaching early I could request an early check in. Everything about the place was awesome except that the room had only one charging point that too away from the bed.

Location of the property is excellent... It's right next to an amazing beach. Shops and eateries are available nearby. The resort is expansive with a good pool. Rooms are a little old but neat and clean. Staff are polite and responsive. They have many facilities like spa, kids play area and ample parking. Food is above average, a little lacking in variety but good taste wise. They have special vegetarian section for breakfast buffet. Overall a great experience.

This resort is really beautiful as it has its own beach.There is lot of greenery , plus they have 3-4 pools with lukewarm water which is hardly available in any other hotel. We reached the hotel at 12:45 pm and checkin time was 3 pm, but the hotel staff made us checkin early as I was unwell. If you are visiting langkawi this a must visit hotel with decent price.

Location food facilities overall property was excellent but Rooms were not at all satisfactory. Water drainage in wash basin and bath tub were not working properly and lot of water were collecting. Beds were not comfortable etc.

Excellent property on the beach, loved it and it is very much kids friendly or baby friendly. I stayed in beach view suite and the location was excellent.

Summary: Stunning grounds and a great pool bar can’t hide outdated rooms, neglectful service, terrible food, and even chemical burns. Check-in & Welcome “Drink”: Promised a 3 PM check-in—room wasn’t ready. Redirected (with another Indian family) for canned-juice “fruit punch.” Outdated Rooms: Spotless but frozen in the 1990s—felt like dial-up-era decor. Room Service Fiasco: Food arrived with no plates. Staff made us fetch them ourselves until a manager intervened—and the meal was awful. Breakfast Woes: Barely any vegetarian options; chef ignored our question when we asked if a dish was veg. Pools & Burns: Paid-access pool “comp” turned into chemical burns—literal health hazard. Disrespect & Discrimination: Rules applied inconsistently, service felt cold and sometimes derogatory—especially toward Indians. Yes, the pool and bar are beautiful. But outdated facilities, negligent staff, and physical harm make this a terrible value. Don’t waste your time or money.

All in all, Langkawi Beach Resort and Spa is a value-for-money gem that offers comfort, convenience, and an authentic island experience.
