Chenang Inn

The room was built in a cottage format. It had a small porch outside with a small table and a couple of chairs so you could sit outside and sip beverages in the morning/evening. The bathroom was quite small with very negligible space for the shower. The room had a placard with a list of items in the room with prices for replacement, applicable to guests in case of damages. I can understand they might have had a few bad experiences but posting such information prominently makes you feel that you are a potential thief unless proven otherwise. This was the biggest negative. In fact some of the items mentioned were not even provided and I had to point out in the beginning to avoid hassle at the time of the check-out.

Hotel is located in heart of city but away from main road which makes it isolated from traffic sound. All tourist attractions are at walk-able distance. You find good restaurants once you catch the main lane.

Location wise it is good and breakfast is also good. However restaurant are quite costly nearby the hotel as the hotel is located in the main market.
Fridge in my room was not working. Breakfast in morning is good.

The room has very basic facilities. There is nothing premium, but clean. But the staff is friendly. But location is great. It is around 5 minutes walk from Chenang beach. A lot of options are available for food.
