I was travelling with senior citizen, Checkin time was 3pm, I requested for early checkin , hotel upfront me to pay 2000 yen additional amount apart from booking amount, this was terrible customer service by apa hotel group.

Compact and tiny room with luggage space. No moisturiser / cream provided along with toileteries. No cab service arranged by hotel staff. Only plus was it was walking distance from kyoto station, very beneficial if you need to board an early morning train
