very close to the kyoto station. but still In a quiet road. very easy to find. we opted for breakfast while booking. it had good selection of fruits and other food in their menu. but exactly the same thing every morning. nothing special on 1st Jan breakfast too. exactly same breakfast every day. not much options for vegetarians. rooms are small but manageable as you would go to room only to sleep. overall decent experience.

We recently visited Japan and stayed at Mercure Kyoto . We had a very comfortable stay at this Mercure Kyoto Station. It is within walking distance from Kyoto station Staff was very helpful and kind. I would probably stay here again if i were to go back and recommend this place to my friends too.

Hotel is situated very close to the Kyoto railway station and is just a 5 years old property. It definitely gives you a new property feeling and the toiletries in the bathroom were very good quality. Overall stay was excellent.

Location was excellent but not much food options for Indians & vegetarians. Indian restaurant nearby is not good. Bus to major sites can be boarded from outside the Mercure Kyoto Station itself.

Great location , brilliant property. Very clean and nice spacious rooms. However the front desk staff had a very bad attitude. A guy named Matthew was rude, judgemental and absolutely unfit to be a front desk officer.

Money worth stay!

Worth the money. Good sized rooms, good service and very well maintained facilities. 8-10 mins walk from kyoto station making use of public transport very handy. Highly recommended.
