very good location, just opposite to Kyoto station. very convenient to travel to anywhere in kyoto by train or by bus. Rooms are much more spacious as compared to other hotels in Japan. it may be old but are very clean and without any smell. u will not feel it as old. service very good. surely recommended. has an indian restaurant within 500 to 600 mtrs.

Property location was excellent. It was just opposite to the railway station. The staff were very courteous and helpful. Though the room was little.cramped.for 3 guests . It was ideal for 2. The water dispenser available throughout the day was a boon for us .

There was no water provided in the room. It would be better to have it in the room

It was a good experience. Rooms are a bit small. But overall location is quite good for people who are travelling to visit city.

The hotel is located opposite the Kyoto station and next to AEON mall. The rooms are great and offer generous amount of space and amenities. There are multiple food options and if you step out, there are plenty more.

Excellent rooms & breakfast. The room was very spacious with 3 beds, as we were 3 adults. Breakfast was available in both continental style and traditional Japanese style. One could choose from a huge variety. We wanted to have Japanese style food and we just loved the breakfast. Hotel's location is Super. It is just across the main Kyoto station (where Shinkansen, JR trains and Metro all 3 connections are available), plenty of good eateries & duty free shopping.

Xcellent stay. Just across Koyoto station through West exit . Next to Aeon mall with food mall. Central Bus station at Koyoto station only; very convenient to move around. Maps available at Information centre at Station. Water dispensers on each floor. Only two milk/ sugar sachets provided, though. Big rooms. Entire Japan, Commodes have Water option and Washbasin water is drinkable. Carry a preloaded Suica Welcome card; very useful for trains/ buses and shopping; available at JR Railway counters. Very near to metro station rooms are neat and clean and good in size staff is very cooperative only thing we missed is water bottles in rooms

Amazing property right opposite the Kyoto Station which made it very convenient. The rooms are big and comfortable. Lot of options for breakfast, western breakfast can include more variety for a vegetarian like me. Helpful staff

fantastic and to the expectations

Nice location just opposite to kyoto station and 5 min walk from west exit. Bus stop is also in walkable distance for various attractions. Language problem is there but they have people to attend that issue. You wont get water bottles in your room instead you will have to refill from the water dispenser again and again. Thats the worst part and very irritating.

The hotel is old. It serves only japanese breakfast and nothing is vegan or even vegetarian. The only best thing was the onsen.

Just located next to Kyoto railway station, this property has Indian food joints within walking distance, has spacious rooms, very polite, welcoming and professional staff. Has 4 restaurants to choose from and has a well managed cloak room.

Miyako Hotel Kyoto is just 200 meters from Kyoto station and is in the center of Kyoto.. just 2 stops from Inari Shrine and best to catch Shinkansen (bullet trains).. The hotel is very clean and the staff was really helpful.. we enjoyed our 2 nights stay at the hotel. They don't do water wastage and you can fill water whenever you want from water dispensers. Kyoto station is big and full of shops and it's walking distance from the hotel.

Miyako is the best hotel for the best location, quality and size of rooms is unmatched in Japan. The location is exactly opposite the Kyoto station where in you can easily travel to any part of Japan.
