The Sankara Resort

First thing they promise to have a complimentary photo session for 30 mins but it is wrong information. You can get only 1 digital photo and waste of time. Their private pool is dirty and even the fountain did not work. Give 700 to 800 ml of free water and you need to buy after that. No water refilling option. They do not have good Indian food either. You can not find Indian food by surrounding as it's too far from the city location. Not value for money.

The property was far from shown in the pics. It was dirty, broken toilet seats, no lights in room, no proper safety.

Resort was located in a quite an isolated place, staff was good, but they had quite a problem in providing facilities like drinking water, cutlery and glasses for the room, Deluxe pool villa was nowhere deluxe, beds were creaking hardly any hot water in the shower, Room was atleast 5-10 minutes walk away from the reception area, there were bugs all around the property. Breakfast had very little options overall food quality was good, spa was poor massage was not upto the mark in the price charged

The Sankara Resort, The location was remote, although not far away from city centre, but entering here without a car can be scary. Secondly, they can deny the promises they make. We were promised a complimentary foot massage for 15 mins, but due to their mis-management, they denied due to non availability at that time(although confirmed with reception guys) They also denied giving complimentary honeymoon decoration, which was in our package.

extremely good property but highly inhospitable staff specially at the restaurant, no rules no professionalism! i would have loved to visit the property again but a big no.. traveling n staying are all about hospitality which lacks in this place

we came to Bali for the first time and this was the first place we started. absolutely courteous and happy staff to welcome you all the time. each member is trained to greet and welcome the guests. location is very serene. amenities are very good. Food options are limited but well made.

It is one of the worst resorts in Ubud, they are completely unaware about basic hotel standards. wash basin is jam. staff is rude. Ants & lizards all over the room. pls avoid for any holiday. It was my biggest mistake to choose this hotel, wasted my 4 precious days at this resort. Big Big request to avoid this hotel at any cost.

Great location in Ubud, surrounded by green lush views. They offer free shuttle to market but I am sure you wouldn’t want to venture out missing your time at this property. Excellent services with primary focus on experience.

Very good resort with very good service. Private pool vila was excellent here at good price and services.

Food, service, staff, amenities, spa, swimming pool all are excellent. Rooms are cosy aesthetically designed some having private pool which gives you a private villa feel. The shower area is lit by natural light which gives an earthly atmosphere. Everything you get here will make you relaxed and happy. The market is little far from the place but the one point market is useless. Rather you should visit individual shops as per your liking and choice of products you want not what they want to sell.

It was magical and very relaxing and the spa is the best

4. Food quality is okaish. Stay is okaish. Considering the money there are so many other properties available. Basic amenities like tea not available. Complimentary services like massage photography not provided. So over all it was a okaish stay. Vegetarian food options are also very less.

One of the best resorts. Loved the experience. Recommended for travels. Mesmirising experience and indeed one of the best experiences ever

superb room but not so great food.. stay was comfortable and very polite staff.. not sure if it's normal but got charged even for ice bucket :)

Rooms were good but the pickup drop facility to airport was not provided. Indian food at the hotel is very poor quality and not indian test.

Excellent resort. Nice food, service, rooms. One should definitely give it a try. River field views, pool, restaurant, everything is there. Free foot massage and one time photography.

This was by far our worst experience , talking about the food, they will just give u a single dish if food is in your package, the staff enters the room without any permission, they will call tou endlessly to pay even for a Peanut. Not at all safe. There are lizards and mosquitoes all around. Staff was non supportive.
