Jungle Retreat by Kupu Kupu Barong

Our stay was good, the hotel was located in a beautiful place, nice set up, check in was too much delayed, almost 30 mins we were asked to wait in three different places (parking area, kupu kupu barong reception and then jungle retreat reception, swimming pool in the terrace is very small, they have 4 restaurants but there is no room service available, complimentary buffet breakfast was good but limited varieties of recipes, plug points weren't working, unable to charge our phone, it is 90 min drive from airport, anything and everything is expensive compared to other hotels we stayed in bali, which were cheaper than this kupu kupu barong. I paid a lot of money for staying but it was not worth the money i paid. We can find cheaper and good hotels nearby localities. I never want to stay again at the jungle retreat by kupu kupu barong.

Great hospitality, rooms are awesome and great service. Would be good for couples and family and wont be that entertaining for Solo or group travellers

Best five star hotel at the cheap rate in Ubud.

Doesn't feel like 4-star property. Basic interior and bathroom. Comparatively smaller bed, shuttle service only upto 6 pm, safety lock was not working, washbasin had poor drainage. Constant fear of encountering wild insects and reptiles.

Mind-blowing.

Beautiful hotel. Beautiful room interior with exotic touch. Balcony view is superb. Had an excellent stay

Doesn't deserve to be a five star hotel. No information given about the activities going in the hotel. Breakfast is terrible. Cleaning doesn't even change the soaps etc. Daily
