Nice hotel at a wonderful location

Hotel canton enjoys a great location as it sits at one end of Beijing lu pedestrian street. I would have given 5 stars but one incident particularly ruined our perfect stay. We came back after dinner late at night and requested at the reception to book a taxi for us at 4:00 am in the morning, but the person refused saying that now the concierge has gone home and they cannot book it for us. It took my husband half an hour at night to convince him to book a taxi. Other than this it was a perfect stay.

Overall good facilities and very good location. Service staff speak very little English. But when we checked out they call taxi for very quickly but they can keep good English speaking staff so International travel will get more comfortable.

It is a good Hotel Canton with wonderful location, approach from two sides makes it very accessible, large rooms although a old Hotel Canton with bit old interiors but the location and price will make you forget bad parts of it. I recommend this Hotel Canton over all the 4 star properties in canton.
