Hotel Canton

The hotel accommodations were quite satisfactory. The staff members were courteous and professional.

The location of the hotel is perfect just next to Beijing road. The facilities provided in the hotel are not up-to the mark. Breakfast has too little for vegetarians and its almost the same everyday. The staff doesn't listen to you no matter in what language you try to communicate. No newspaper provided. Toiletries were not as per mentioned in the description. No English channels on TV. Canton fair shuttle timings are in a very short span only up to 9.30 am. No refreshment provided while coming back from canton fair apart from a small water bottle. Although other hotels do provide some refreshments on return. Serving only 30 ml cola cold drink as a welcome drink when you come to hotel from canton was some kind of a joke. All in all perfect location for a stay but needs to improve.

Great location, room size are good, although have a older look. Check in and check out takes time. Staff can speak less english. Big hotel ,, Service is average . I will like to stay again at this hotel for its location. There breakfast is good. I liked the lift service . They are quickto the floor

Overall good facilities and very good location. Service staff speak very little English. But when we checked out they call taxi for very quickly but they can keep good English speaking staff so International travel will get more comfortable.

Hotel canton enjoys a great location as it sits at one end of Beijing lu pedestrian street. I would have given 5 stars but one incident particularly ruined our perfect stay. We came back after dinner late at night and requested at the reception to book a taxi for us at 4:00 am in the morning, but the person refused saying that now the concierge has gone home and they cannot book it for us. It took my husband half an hour at night to convince him to book a taxi. Other than this it was a perfect stay.

It is a good hotel with wonderful location, approach from two sides makes it very accessible, large rooms although a old hotel with bit old interiors but the location and price will make you forget bad parts of it. I recommend this hotel over all the 4 star properties in canton.
