Somerset Haizhu Centre Guangzhou

I stayed at Somerset for a week. The location is good and well-connected to all major places. The Somerset Haizhu Centre Guangzhou facilities are also good, but there is a language issue — the reception staff cannot speak English, so communication becomes difficult. You need to use a translation app for almost everything in China. The mini kitchen was useful, and I could prepare my own food, but the available vessels were not sufficient. I had to buy additional items from the supermarket located in the same building. The Somerset Haizhu Centre Guangzhou also takes a 500 RMB deposit during check-in, which was not mentioned anywhere at the time of booking. The amount was returned during check-out. Other than these points, everything was fine.

The location was good and easily identifiable. I was happy to see English speaking staff. In fact, being a serviced apartment, the inroom facilities were amazing and top-notch. The food buffet was good. But there could be improvement if they can at least mention the ingredients for the prepared food. Being a vegetarian, I could not try a lot of things. Also, though the food timing was till 10, even at 930, the food was getting cold, and couldn't even get a hot cup of tea or coffee. Overall, I would say a very good stay. Making above changes in food would make it an excellent stay.

Overall good, could be more better in terms of house keeping, front office could be improved, lack of knowledge

Excellent stay , we all loved it. We took 3 rooms , it was absolutely amazing. Food was amazing as well , we stayed for 10 days and we have no issue with the breakfast. The location is in the center of the city ,and from reception you can directly go into hopson mall. And right cross the road you also have Wanda plaza. Along with that you have lots of restaurants and stuff. The had kitchen utilities, washing machine and Internals plugs. It’s a perfect international stay. I 200% recommend it.

Good Somerset Haizhu Centre Guangzhou to stay with. Good quality of food, room size and services also best so worth for money will staying with them again. Provide shuttle bus for the canton fair which make your stay much comfortable.

The property is very well maintained, clean and professional. The location is excellent and hospitality is top notch. Only limitation is that the restaurant is only open for bf and no room service. However, the location makes up for that as it is next to a shopping mall and many restaurants. Overall and excellent stay and will certainly recommend it
