Review Of Dream Valley Resort Vattavada Munnar

We had a very pleasant stay. Resort Location is amazing with nice climate & valley views, food was good and overall experience with resort was nice, considering a peaceful one night stay with family. Only one issue is road to resort from Koviloor onwards...too narrow and very bad road

Property is okay but staff and maintainance is bad also i raised a complaint about water flow is very slow in bathroom and taps are not working correctly then the reply was very lame and said thats how it works so over all im not satisfied

The Room was good. We had a nice stay and the staffs treated us properly.The only bad thing was the food. We had dinner and breakfast from the resort. Dinner was pathetic.

Only good thing about the place was the staff. The negatives start before entering the premise. The road leading to the property was half blocked by sand and aggregate that was irresponsibly unloaded. Then to the parking, it is a sharp turn after entering the property and even a small car has to do a three point turn and there is a small shrub there blocking the way. The room(we booked a deluxe) has zero privacy. The ceiling fan’s regulator knob was missing, the door knob was loose and flimsy, paint was missing on some spots on the wall, there were bugs crawling on the floor and above everything else, the bathroom was reeking of methane possibly from a full septic tank. It was also felt on our way to the restaurant. We didn’t complain or demand a room change as we were only staying the night there and didn’t want the hassle. The only good thing was the staff’s behaviour, everyone was courteous and helpful. The food was decent, even though exorbitantly priced. Don’t fall for the photos in Mmt as we did. You’ll regret the choice the moment you step in the property.

Food is excellent, restaurant was nice, pool was so good, staffs are good, valley view is ok. But room looks so old & congested, there was no proper lighting in the room (very dim lights) & visible wirings, way to the property was so bad (very bad roads) was like off roading my car’s bottom hit on road gutters.

The place was really beautiful and very scenic, the food was good and so was the service. The last km road to the resort was very narrow and driving there in the car was challenging, also the last few km were very bad roads.

The stay was comfortable and cozy. The service was also commendable. Food was average only and was bit to the expensive side. The location was incredible and the pool was also well maintained.

Stay was average, do not expect too much from the hotel, the view from the hotel is amazing but the way to reach the hotel is terrible

The dream valley resort was a fantastic destination to spend time with family or friends, their amenities are good. the location is superb with breathtaking views around.

I recently stayed at this resort in Vattavada and found the property to be truly wonderful in many aspects. However, there are a few areas that need improvement. 1. Road Access: The road leading to the property from Vattavada town is in extremely poor condition, making the 500-meter drive quite challenging and risky. It currently resembles an off-road track, which could be a significant concern for guests, particularly those traveling in standard vehicles. 2. Lack of Guest Communication: On the day of our planned checkout, there was a local hartal in the Panchayat. This event had been publicly announced several days in advance and was known to the resort management. However, guests were not informed about it beforehand. As a result, we were unable to leave the property until 3 PM, causing unnecessary inconvenience. Had we been notified earlier, we could have adjusted our plans or even reconsidered our stay. 3. Food Pricing: While the food quality at the resort is commendable, the pricing is significantly high—comparable to that of a five-star hotel. A more reasonable pricing structure would enhance the overall guest experience. Despite these concerns, the resort itself offers a great ambiance and hospitality. Addressing these issues would significantly improve the guest experience and make it a truly outstanding destination.

1. The breakfast spread could have been better. Options were very limited. 2. The pool must have a heater facility as well considering the cool water and temperature outside

It was a nightmare! After traveling for hours, we arrived at the property, only to be told that they hadn't received our booking confirmation. The owner offered to cancel our booking or show us alternative rooms. I felt frustrated and disappointed. We had been looking forward to a comfortable stay, and this unexpected issue added to our stress. Eventually, after making our concerns clear, they provided us with the room we had booked

Everything was good food is also good and the price was reasonable and didn't seem too expensive

Almost every thing is good except the view from the room. I booked valley view rooms but I get the room on ground floor and there is only garden view.

The view from the resort is beyond description. Awesome. U really feel like u r in heaven. Staff very pleasing and helpful. Got refreshed like anything.

Dream valley is surrounded by scenic beauty with breathtaking valley view. It is wonderful place to stay. The rooms are well maintained with hot water availability round the clock. The property has a pool which is very clean and well maintained. They also has a small play area for kids. The property premises is also well maintained and very neat. The daily camp fire and dj was a very good experience for us. The property is accessible by own vehicle, but the roads are narrow and in poor condition. The resort staff are very hospitable and friendly. Overall, we had a wonderful stay at dream valley and thoroughly enjoyed the nature around it.
