I absolutely loved my experience at Elephant Passage. I chose this hotel for my travel and also to celebrate my first wedding anniversary. The rooms were clean, the environment is peaceful with lot of nature surrounding the place. The food at the buffet was delicious the ought our 3 days stay there. I also had the hotel arrange a candle light dinner for us on our anniversary and the decorations and arrangements were amazing. It really made our stay memorable. All the servers at the restaurant are extremely helpful.. The bonfire was an amazing experience as well.. I will definitely visit the hotel whenever i find myself in Munnar again. Loved my experience

Lovely spot but need upgradation

First of all it was a good experience for staying there. The location was good. The amenities were also good. Services and staff are also good, but as a tourist somethings make me go mad, like we already pay a high amount during booking than also the charges for food are not acceptable it's so high. And in rooms all the things are priceable nothing is free even a water bottle, that upsets me so much. One more thing upset me the staff in food area are unable to understand sometimes but also continously staring and roaming which makes us uncomfortable sometimes.

its a good quiet property away from everything good place to wind down the food is really good the service less said the better also it need maintenance common doors not locking isnt good and once unlocked we had to call someone just to lock the door again

I just loved the stay at Elephant passage was excellent. Offered great ambience and food was awesome 😋 TV, room phone was no functional & indoor recreational activities was less/ not properly kept or maintained. Considering it was raining throughout...we were not able to use outdoor parks for kids & not having indoor options was not great. My In laws enjoyed the stay and food & overall I will give a 4/5 for the stay. Staffs were good and very responsive and view from room was extraordinary. Thank you, team

The amenities do not match the amount you pay for this hotel. and the room decor was basic to say the least. The sofa was torn, the bed broken in places and they are charging only for the jacuzzi you feel. Even the jacuzzi smells and isn't cleaned. So I'm wondering why they charge so much to give sub standard stuff.

Mixed stay — beautiful location but service & housekeeping need work

I stayed at Elephant Passage for 2 days with my wife. The property itself is lovely — the location, greenery and the general atmosphere are lovely and peaceful, and some parts (pool, rooms, food) can be really nice. However, our stay was marred by a few worrying service and housekeeping issues that management should address. What went wrong (my experience) Staff training & privacy: One of the dine-in staff actually walked into our room without asking while I had just opened the door — that made me uncomfortable. Reception responsiveness: The reception contact number didn’t respond when I tried to call. I also attempted to book dinner through reception but didn’t get a proper response. Jacuzzi / privacy & cleanliness: I saw staff wandering in the jacuzzi area (that felt like it should be a private/no-entry zone). Worse, there was a large (≈3 inch) spider in my jacuzzi room; I spent most of the time watching it and worrying it would come near my clothes — not the kind of experience you want in a room meant for relaxation. Restaurant comfort: Food was good, but the dining area was uncomfortably hot at times — please install at least a fan or improve ventilation so guests aren’t sweating through their meal when nature doesn’t cooperate.
